i have never done a buska ring, but my guess would be $50 extra per shaft.
i would think that $850 for the rings, kamuis and ferrules would be about right for some of the top tier cuemakers,JW,Szam,Manzino,Kers,Searing,Tascarella,Showman, and several others i'm sure but for anyone not in that top tier $850 sounds like $300+ too much.
When you talk about Buska rings it sounds like you are having a WHOLE CUE made, but you didn't mention a cue, only shafts. What is it?...JER
Just shafts . They have mini Buska rings in the collar.
i JUST PD 600. +SHIPPING FOR 2 SHAFTS,MEMINE FERRULES- AND i WILL PUT THESE SHAFTS UP AGAINST ANY SHAFTS FOR PLAYABILITY. and you mention balakuska ring=a cue as well ivory shafts You get what you pay for but you need to know who your dealing with. If I was the cuemaker, and I read a post about my prices, and you wanted someone to put belief in a cuemaker, you don't mention. then anytthing you buy won't work because you have no faith. I spent like 150-200. just to protect the cues and shafts. Sorry friend get some balls-
Sorry, a Bushka ring is an Ivory ring, about 1/4" thick, in the butt of a cue. I've never heard of a ring on a shaft being called a Bushka ring. I'm a cuemaker & if I charged that much money for 2 shafts, I couldn't sleep at night. I for one, think that that is a rediculous amount for 2 pieces of wood. I've never found a customer that threw money around like that. Poor me...JER

he's referring to 2 silver rings with block ring work in between. the ivory ring is more commonly referred to as a hoppe ring altho i understand that its has nothing to do with a hoppe cue. it's kinda like how people refer to cueball squirt as deflection when deflection is actually in reference to how the object deflects off the intended path by a little bit after being struck by the cueball.

Jerry, You're thinking of the Hoppe Ring. The bushka rings are the B/W dashed with silver and black rings around them. I use them as my normal ringwork, also in Turquoise, Pink Ivory, and Purple Heart instead of the Black dash.
