Great little one pocket Bank shot.

I have had that one made on me, but if you have a real clean table and polished balls......its MUCH tougher to get the spin to take.

As mentioned you hit a little of the pocket point. The (Dead Man) who is Rick Ortez sp? was given credit for that shot in one of Eddie Robbins 1p books. Sweet shot to make but to much point and it could be a sellout.

nice shot will have to practice that.
what is the success rate on that shot i'm guessing it could easily go wrong and hang over the opponents pocket how many times would you expect to make the shot out of 5 attempts?

shoot it off the point of the pocket. it is a sweet shot!

That's correct -- this shot is covered in depth (and many variations, no less) in Freddy the Beard's "Banks that Don't Go, But Do!" DVD. On many tables, the "point" of the corner pocket is not even a point at all; it's a much gentler-angled/rounded surface. This is due to the cloth, when installed, having been pulled taught around that rubber cushion's point, thereby "softening" the point and making it less a "point" but more of a rounded surface. You'd be surprised at how often you can play shots off the point, or very near the point itself (e.g. off the "rounded" surface immediately in front of the pocket point):

Hope this is helpful,

it's a very cute shot but (as scorsby points out) imagine the look on the other guy's face when you mess it up and drill a ball straight into his pocket. Or rattle and hang it in front of his pocket. Christmasssssss!
