Ripped Off by Aubrey's Quay!!

I bought a KF cue for $200 from Aubrey's Quay, nothing was said about any warp. I received the cue and it had a terrible wobble, they said to send the shaft back and they would send me 2 brand new shafts. I sent the shaft back and received only 1 new shaft. The cue still had a wobble so I rolled just the butt end and that's where the wobble was. I explained that I would like to return the cue for a refund and they said to send it back and I would receive a full refund, I sent the cue back over 3 weeks ago and I still have NOT received any refund and they have stopped responding to my PM's so I have no choice but to post this letting everyone know that they ripped me off. Please be careful when dealing with Aubrey's Quay as he/she might rip you off just like they did me. I will continue to bump this post so that everyone is well informed about how Aubrey's Quay is a scam! It's unfortunate that there are people like this in our forums.

I had an issue with a Kao Fa carom cue in the past and if it wasn't for Aubrey's Quay stepping up for me I would have been screwed. IMO he will make this right...

Easy, there was a Jim Lee thread that got deleted recently. Basically threads about cuemakers sometimes have a habit of disappearing.

lol duly noted....granted on the other thread referenced people started attacking each other. I wish for the best for the OP on getting a refund.

She is a distributor for KC. Why would she take heat for a problem that she could hand off to the manufacture? I did a deal with her and had a problem, she issued a total refund including my shipping.
I know it sucks to wait but please try and find patience. One could never know what is going on in an others life.

True but I find it a little strange that she was very quick to respond to every PM before I bought the cue, now that a refund is in question I haven't heard back for over 3 weeks? I think waiting this long is being pretty patient, I sent numerous PM's warning her that if she doesn't respond or give a refund that I would have to go public with this. It takes what, about 30 seconds to log on to PayPal and transfer funds to someone else? Shouldn't be this much of a problem.
 
I hope this gets resolved favorably. I must say that I had a good transaction with Aubreysquay. Good luck with resolving this issue.
 
I know how hard it is to not jump to conclusions because who knows what's going on with her. Her activity, or lack of, only explains that she hasn't been online, but as he explained, before she went AWOL she knew there was a problem. Any good business person will do whatever it takes to take care of their customers, especially the ones that have already paid......

I'm sorry to hear about this, and hope for your sake it gets cleared up..... Stay positive brother!!!:thumbup:

I bought a cue from them several months ago. The picture in the add was from the K-F catalog not of the actual cue. The ebony in the picture was jet black but the cue had stripped ebony. She said she had more of that model coming and would send me pictures of the actual cues. I returned the original one and waited. I finally got a pm saying the others were the same and I was offered some other cues that I was not interested in. It took awhile, about 3 more weeks and I don't know why, but they did give me a full refund including shipping.
I checked Ebay and their website and it does look as though their gone. I hope for your sake that isn't the case. Good Luck
 
This is really suck. When the seller try to advertise or sell his/her item, he/she react very quick and with nice attitude. When he/she already recieve the money then He/she always have an excuse to escape from responsibility:angry:.

I wonder if we (the consumer) recieve our cue first than pay the bill later :rolleyes:

Then, if evely now and then buyer was not velly lice and not pay, they could say bad things about them on intlaweb so message go bye-bye and all sellers still blind to truth:sad:
 
i dont know anyone involved in this transaction, my statment is a general one.



I have seen more funny biz going on in the past year than ever in my life im 43, and the funny biz seems to be happening more and more frequently. I attribute it to the ecomony, the thing thats suppost to be getting better but isnt.


As I said thats a general statment with nobody in paticular in mind. Its time to be financially vigilant at all levels. I dont trust Wal Mart now.
