he's Jim Lee. Tommie1351 knows him pretty well you should shoot him a pm. i want to say he's from indiana but i could be wrong. i've seen 3-4 of his cues before and had him make a shaft for me once.

he does good work.

No - Jim Lee is J & D Custom, not JD custom.

I believe JD custom cues sell on ebay, and they are nice looking cues from the Philippines. Some people like them, and the work seems to be OK, especially for the price. Not sure how they play.

I wonder which one Crawfish picked up - the gina copy/tribute that just sold on ebay?

I hope this helps.

Michael

I get this question all the time. Michael is correct, JD Customs are from over seas. I have worked on many, even had them sent to me to check value from people.
My cues are signed Jim Lee or as of late, my cues are inlaid with a JL on the butt plate or butt sleeve, depending on design.
Most I have seen are similar in design to Gina Cues, but have also seen 8 pointers many times also.
This is my new logo that are on all of my newer cues.

I was gonna say the same thing!

I knew that country boy was double dipping but where and when did he lose the accent, lol....

The phillipino JD cues are long on style and very short on quality. Poor craftsmanship. Dont. YOu won't regret it.
