I am selling this cue for Scott Frost. Made just recently by Bob Owen of Shurtz Cues. Butt of the cue weighs a hair under 15 oz. and the 2 shafts weigh 3.9 and 3.6. I do not have a micrometer but both shafts appear to be 13mm and the ferrules are ivory.

The wrap is elephant ear. All the white in the cue is ivory, veneers are awesome and pop out at you. Ivory joint and big brass pin. The JPs are awesome too. Cue has been test hit only. If you want anymore info please contact me via PM. No trades, the price on this cue is almost criminal because your really stealing it.

PRICE WAS $2000+ BUT NOW THE PRICE IS $1600!

That is a beautiful cue Lenny! It's stealing at that price too.. Wish I had the money to buy it.

Does this have the cored butt?

What is the joint? It looks like ivory. Is it solid, sleeve, pilot, flat face, pin type and size?

Sharp cue.

Thanks

Hi. The cue has an ivory joint with a big pin, I believe it is a radial pin and solid ivory but I will call Scott to find out or perhaps Mr. Owen might be looking and could chime in. Not sure if the butt is cored or not. I have to say Bob Owen's work is wonderful. :)

It would be hard to find a cue of this magnitude for this low of a price.

Lenny, it would be better if you took the joint caps off and showed the pin looking down at the joint..... on the shaft and butt....

I think I remember this cue, and I think it is a radial pin, but not sure....

I agree about it being tough to get a cue like this for the price its listed at but its got to go. I will get pics of it tonight when I see Scott as he has the cue in his possession. :)

formally

In the description you stated that Bob no longer works at Shurtz cues, did Shurtz cues close?

Thanks
Kennan

Jack Shurtz does tables, and Bob Owen does cues. Been that way for as long as I can remember. Nothing has changed as far as I know. Their website is still up.

i would be all over this cue if it was bumperless with a plug.....really great cue at a great price....gl with your sale...mickey

Huh? Did not see that, can you show me where that was posted? I do believe Kennan that Bob is Shurtz cues.

am selling this cue for Scott Frost." Made by Bob Owen just recently of Shurtz Cues"

I took the phrase (just recently) , meaning in pastense

I was just sadded if such a great cue builder had put the breaks on new cues in this down economy.:frown:
Thankyou for correcting my error in your meaning. :sorry:
Thanks again
Kennan

P.S. Is Scott Frost the "Freezer" who won a challenge one pocket match against Efrin Reyes?

Bob Owen and Jack Shurtz share ashop in Witchita,Bob makes sharp pointed ,sharp inlaid cues on the higher end.The cues are as nice as anyone makes, look at the cues and you will see top quality work

If this is the cue Scott Frost has been playing someone will be getting a real bargain on this one, even if its not the one he played it is a fantastic opportunity

Nice cue

Dean

Here are some pictures of the joint and butt with the cap and bumper off.
