I was just thinking do you feel some of the top pro's males and females dump matches??

I had to take a dump when I got in the car this morning. Now I don't, but I didn't yet. Riddle me this...you who know much about dumps.

No, but what I do think happens a lot is when a top pro is having a bad day, because of his or her skill level, some people automatically think that he or she is dumping.

Heck yeah they dump. As little money as they make and the long odds they have to win a tourney, if the rail is right and the morals are shaky yeah I could see a dump happening.

If it happens in snooker it DEFINITELY happens in pool!

funny thing . . . .

The funny thing is if it looks like they are dumping they aren't. No reason for a top player to show he is dumping. I've never been a top player but I could stall and hide it with the best of them! :D ;) :D

Anyone that believes it doesn't go on is a moron. Biz is biz. If you can make $1200 by winning, or $2200 by losing (and lowering your stock to better take down another situation), uh, well...... come on.

I'm not gonna name names, but, some situations would quite surprise you. See, the key is to have the information before the "alleged" dump goes down.

I don't think they would, especially since they're all shooting for the top prize, if they weren't interested in winning the tournament, then why would they bother paying an entry fee? :)

If I was playing a tournament and someone asked me to dump a match for money or whatever, I'd tell 'em to go f-ck themselves and it would just make me more determined to win as a way of saying "F-ck you!" to the betting scammers!

Well, I am simply going to say that any pros who have/do dump matches, don't deserve any respect or credit as being a professional player.

It may be buisness, but if a player is gonna dump, they'd be better off just not entering a tournament and leave the tournament to players who are there to win.

Without coming off as challeninging you personally...what do you do for a living? (I sit in an office)

*IF they existed, the dumpers would just say those who don't understand have no idea what it is like to be a cowboy.

I am currently unemployed and am looking for work, but I have never been a money orientated person because there is more to life and the sport of pool than money :)

For those who think of pool as just being a means to earn a few extra bucks, that's entirely fine as it is their personal choice, but me personally, I just enjoy shooting pool and competeing :)

If I win a tournament, it's great and if not, then it's still great because it's better to appreciate and enjoy the game for what it is :)
