One of the ways to make the game ball on the break is to hit a cut break, and bank the cue ball back through the middle of the stack, where the 9 or 10 should be sitting.
Is this a break you folks use? Often? Sometimes? When on the hill? Has anyone not ever heard of trying this?
I never really break like that, but in one set I tried it twice, made the 9 one time perfect.
If you miss, you usually end up with the cue ball in a bad spot, unless it happens to be kicked back downtable. Of course with some people, the cue ball end up so bad anyway the chance to make the game ball would outweigh that
