Starts today folks whose your money on to win? I reckon Hohmann or the Korean dragon Charlie Williams.
Ill take that bet!
Ill take Efren, Neils, Yang, Bustamante and Wu if he is playing.
Anyone got a website for this?
You're very adventurous in your selections. Sure you don't want to add Mika, Lee Van and Ralf in there?![]()
Tell ya what-you take'm and ill give you 2-1 $100.00-$50.
2-1 on 3 guys in a field of the best 128+ players on the planet? Thanks, but I'll pass.![]()
VERY strong field here! Just because you're not familiar with all the names doesn't mean they can't play. Meanwhile almost every top player alive is there. All but Donny Mills!![]()
Oh, I never said it wasn't strong, it just doesn't appear to be AS strong. Maybe the Open seemed more stacked because it also had the top ladies in attendance as well. As a result, it seemed stronger pound-for-pound.
But you are right never the less. On second glance, there were numerous players that I had overlooked when skimming the player list.
The following are still missing though, although having only this small handful missing is pretty strong indeed:
- Schmidt
- Kiamco
- Parica
- Hatch
- Gomez
- Owen
- Double J
Not sure why Gomez isn't there. He has been prominent on the International scene lately. I'd love to see Dennis get in these fields. He would do some damage!
Gomez is set to defend his Pacquiao Cup title in the Philippines. A grand prize of $22,000 on a relatively veeeery easy field.

I can't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. His competition is Luat, Kiamco, and Gallego, who all play just as strong as Gomez.
Meanwhile almost every top player alive is there. All but Donny Mills!![]()
And the guy that would probably be the #1 player in the world atm despite utter bullshit on the international pool scene stage, Wu. The rocket scientists in charge of this sport thought that it was a smart thing to remove the closest thing to pools version of Tiger Woods from competition. Such complete morons, completely oblivious of opportunities for this sport to progress and gain fan and sponser support.
He might be the best 9-Ball player I ever saw. But for the cash, Yang is the man! Wu's career hasn't been long enough to consider him among the all time greats. He needs to play about ten years in International competition.
