6/26/2010 a new MANZINO "THE TANGIERS" take a peek

Everytime I see a new Manzino from Tikkler I start to think what is Tony from Black Boar up to... and when I see a new Black Boar I start to think what is that genius Bob from Florida going to come up with. These two are pushing the edge in the Modern Art Cue.

You have some amazing cues Steve - please keep posting pics of your cues.

Sanjay

Sanjay, lets talk about that booth idea you had

Hey Steve, Is that cue going to take a trip to the table or never see a ball?
I'd love to know how the Ivory Pin hits!!!!

Manzino

Steve that is an absolute monster. BEAUTIFUL Manzino you had built.
Randy

thanks so much Randy, I think this is by far the nicest Manzino that I have. The colors and the design are just incredible, not to mention the amazing skill it took to create it. Bob is a true artisan

Steve,

........Wow. That one breaks the bank. Simply in a class by itself. Great design concept, choice of materials, very high difficulty points, and flawless execution.

It is real work to bring that much ivory in at the weight and balance you have in the cue.

By the way, one of my singular biggest joys is slowly opening a package when a new cue is delivered, and SLOWLY sliding the cue out, enjoying it inch by inch. I regularly will look at the first part, then put the cue back in the package for a bit savoring the part seen so far. Then the rest of the cue. A real treat.

Thanks for sharing!

Take care,

Will

Will,

I heard something, similar to that, the other night from my wife!!!!!! :) Sorry...... I had to, Will's description sounded like "cue porn".

Beauty of a cue, Steve!

like I said in Fatboys, "no pics " thread Bob is the only guy who can do stuff like this, whatever cue what's his name has coming, better pack a lunch

Awesome cue Bob made for Steve.Just when i thought the bar couldn't get any higher..Bob pushes Dennis ,Tony & Hercek. They all push back. This might be the greatest era of cue making.I'm awestruck.

hey

thanks to everyone for the great comments.....I hope Bob is reading all of this, because all of the credit belongs to him......I just happen to be the shmo that is holding this beauty right now.

His work is just incredible, and keeps getting better every cue he makes. I had one very very well known cuemaker say, when he saw this cue he was going to post, and sday I might as well quit right now....LOL

big time loaded cues with gigundo amounts of inlay and tons of silver and gold or whatever, dont always make a drop dead georgous cue. What makes a cue beautifull to me is the design and the flow, as well as the color scheme and the workmanmship. I am not even mentioning the playability.

Simply AMAZING work of art! I almost would want to put it on display and not play with it ever, like a fabrege egg.

As Clark W. Griswold would say.............."What cue, that cue? No, that cue is ugly, who would want a cue like that?"
