10-ball is harder to beat the ghost on the bb than 9-ball.In the back of the 10-ball Magic rack there is a spot for an 11th ball, so I played about 20 games of it today. The ghost tore me up. One extra ball sure does make difference. You can tell I'm bored huh?. Johnnyt

Wow, I never even thought of that. I suppose that 9/10 hybrid Magic Rack just spurred the invention of a new game. 11 ball ... or should we call it Johnnyt Ball?

Hey Johnny, I asked about that extra space. The consensus is that the 10 ball rack was intially also a 9 ball rack. They then made a separate 9 ball rack as an afterthought. Sounds feasible to me.

It racks perfect 11-ball. Johnnyt

Yep, this is correct. I use the same rack for 9 and 10 ball, and they both work perfectly. Reason #81,357 I love the Magic Rack.

I play 12 ball around Christmas time when I'm bored as a"12 days of Christmas" joke. Just rack the 12th ball behind the 11th so that the rack looks like a Christmas tree.

I actually broke and ran out a rack one time. Sure, it's no 15-ball rotation, but it's the closest thing I'll probably ever get. :p

PS. This is probably the dumbest post in my Azb career...but maybe it will make someone laugh.

Now that's Chistmas Spirit. I'm going to start racking and practicing that way a month before xmas until my wife notices the xmas tree rack. Then I'll tell her I'm practicing for that big Chistmas -Ball tournament in Orlando. Sounds like a plan to get out of the house for a weekend. Johnnyt

We played that quite often in Tulsa...the two extra balls would go in line with the gap b/t the back corner balls

Interesting Idea Johnny, I am at work now cant wait to get home and try it. The game could open up for some new spots ie the 10, 11

That's the game of F-117 ball! :p And in this game, there's new meaning to the term "wing balls." :D

lol, the one nice thing is that its pretty easy to make a ball on the break....

you usually make 1 or 2 balls pretty consistently so it turns into 10 ball except the break is quite easier

its a great pratice game
