A little off the topic of the thread. For the record I've never seen DD hit a ball and am not talking about him with these thoughts. A friend and I were talking about the weight DD has been getting from the champions that he has been playing and how big it is. The one thought I wanted to give was that some people have said how if DD can't win with these spots than he shouldn't even be playing cause he must be that terrible. Probably a true statement. But I have seen with my own 2 eyes how guys that aren't completely helpless can lose with these kinds of spots. When the great player gets going, it is just 1 run out after another no matter the circumstances. If the weaker player doesn't run to his spot ball, game over 90% of the time. It wears on the weaker player that they almost never get a return trip to the table. With that in mind, there seems to be a particular spot that is the cut off for people. It obviously varies from player to player but I have seen with my own eyes that some players just have a number(ball) that they can work with and the next ball in line just seems to be out of reach for whatever reason. This is just a random thought I felt like interjecting into the whole DD scenario. Continue with the discussions.
Yep. They usually make two and then miss on the third shot, getting out of line already...
