The way it really went down

A little off the topic of the thread. For the record I've never seen DD hit a ball and am not talking about him with these thoughts. A friend and I were talking about the weight DD has been getting from the champions that he has been playing and how big it is. The one thought I wanted to give was that some people have said how if DD can't win with these spots than he shouldn't even be playing cause he must be that terrible. Probably a true statement. But I have seen with my own 2 eyes how guys that aren't completely helpless can lose with these kinds of spots. When the great player gets going, it is just 1 run out after another no matter the circumstances. If the weaker player doesn't run to his spot ball, game over 90% of the time. It wears on the weaker player that they almost never get a return trip to the table. With that in mind, there seems to be a particular spot that is the cut off for people. It obviously varies from player to player but I have seen with my own eyes that some players just have a number(ball) that they can work with and the next ball in line just seems to be out of reach for whatever reason. This is just a random thought I felt like interjecting into the whole DD scenario. Continue with the discussions.

Yep. They usually make two and then miss on the third shot, getting out of line already...

This story is 50% correct. Scott Frost is a gambling degen....he blew all the money he won from Viffer. He was living the high life in suites at Aria, and blowing every dollar he had won. He tried to hire guys to rough up Viffer, and that is when Viffer took back the car. "Coach"....you are older and wiser than me, but please, don't give only half the story. You know it, and everyone else does, Viffer paid Scott the 50k, and he blew it, and is lying to you. If you click this link, Viffer even ADMITS to losing 200k to Scott, then Scott asking to borrow $2000 a few days later!! HE GAMBLED IT ALL AWAY
You don't get to Viffer's level of trust in the gambling world by stiffing people on $50k bets...that's a lot in the pool world, but not in the poker world.

Hi Dippy, nice new uniform you have here !

Hi Dippy, nice new uniform you have here !

lol, nope, not Viffer....but I have friends who play ultra high stakes, and all know him well. Just didn't want him getting burnt at the stake here...

I used to live in Texas before Vegas, and used to be a regular down at Legend's Billiards in League City, and another place in Nacogdoches, TX where I went to college...and I was hearing Scott Frost shadiness stories 8 years ago!

From what I understand ( and this is only world of mouth, nothing I witnessed )....Scott was living the high life in Vegas, gambling, partying, etc etc...and blew the money. Most likely he conjured up the story of getting stiffed because he blew the 50k and doesn't want to deal with Incardona ( sp? sorry ).

Looks like DD is trying to arbitrate and settle the score. Got to give credit where credit is due -- [no pun intended]. :o

If Dippy really didn't pay he sured laid down a solid move to make us question whether he did or didn't. After reading 30 pages I said wow this guy really stiffed them. After 60 pages I am asking myself did Scott really get the money and blow.

Scott could have had the best intentions and went to the casino saying he will only lose his end, took the heat, and blew Billy's end. The story is possible.

I am willing to bet big this is not Dippy judging by the complete sentences and lack of spelling errors. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks! I actually used to be a member about 5 years ago, but couldn't remember my username or password. Sigh

I do miss playing, and hope to get back into it someday. Once I moved to Vegas got into poker, I sold my cue's and haven't played but maybe 2-3x in 5.5 yrs.

I was thinking the same thing. And as you'd expect, it's still a "he said, she said" situation with someone who listened to and believed Dave. Can't fault a guy for sticking by his friends.

LVPokerPro's spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure is 500 percent better than DD's. :o

Welcome to the forum. Surliness and flies, no charge!

:cool:Ok then i concur that this is most likely someone other than DD. Just noticed that this is a very new member and said things in the very first post of his that made me think just maybe this is DD. No biggy anyway. It's been done before !

How do you know Viff paid Scott?

Well now im gonna have to ask who this is since I played out of Legends for the last 11 years....You can Pm me the name you dont have to put it out publically....Let me know..Also If you wanna give away money like Dippy I would be interested in some of that stock....Ha Ha...David Parker

Just as a reminder. Way way back in this thread I mentioned the fact that Lenny had outlined Scott's stay at Aria Whale Suites on a live one pocket stream. More than a week's worth of suite living and sometimes more than 1 suite. All you big time gamblers should know what that means. He also discussed the extravagant lifestlye that was being led. Do you have any idea what amounts of money need to be gambled to stay in a whale room more than a week.

Very well said, as usual.

Billy Incardona and I hardly ever agree on anything. We have been arguing with each other for almost 50 years, but when it comes to gambling he dont miss a trick. In a gambling session he might be wrong about what shot to shoot, but as far as the stipulations and the conditions of the bet, you can bet parts of your body that his side is sporting all the facts. I have never seen him put in a phoney claim in my whole life. So I dont need a Scott Frost to verify Billy's story, if Billy said it, that's exactly what happened. He cant shoot straight no more, but he can still think and strategize. Dont dare bet that he is losing it in those departments. As far as negotiations go, he has no peer. I dont know Viffer, but it dont take a prosecution atty to see that his story is weaker than my nine ball break. The fact that he put in a claim after a neutral guy gave a decision, and threatened to not pay off anything when he was in effect 14 games loser, is a pretty good character indicator.

Beard

I'm real late to this thread, and I'm only on page 5 so far. But this post by Fred was one of his grand slams.

I'd say more but I got lots more reading to do......

(How come school reading assignments weren't this interseting???)

PS-Lenny, Billy I, Kickin Chicken, Spidey, Shooting Arts....you guys all had real good posts also by the way.

Now, back to the middle of page 5.......

Nice........lol.

The mind of Bill Incardona is very sharp

Dippy, you're showing your stupidity, why would Scott try to have you robbed if you paid him? And what gives you the balls to infer that if he did I had something to do with it? If I wanted to get you robbed we wouldn't be having this conversation. In poker when you bluff sometimes you get called, well you're called, so you can throw your hand away and play another.

I won't be chiming in any more until I read all 700+ pages in this thread.
But this post pretty much slams the case closed. Too strong a point to rebuff.
