I"m not sure why I am red, I made one comment about a 20,000 dollar case being ridiculous, then I was blackballed? not sure how this place works here, but I have been totally honest and fair in my transactions on the forum. How would it matter if you are a seller? You get the money, then send something. The buyer is taking all the risk. Sorry, but I consider your statement to be absurd.
It mattes to me.

For some reason he is green now even after I hit him with red for what he put in your wanted for sale thread so he might have multiple accounts....possibly due for the insta ban!
 
Looks like I will be dropping my second red rep bomb ever. This guy is a jerk who is probably as quiet as a church mouse in person. Blows me away the things people think they can get away with when they don't have to look you in the eyes. Freakin Internet.

Ditto. This will be only the third red rep I've ever given, and the other two were for people trying to scam others out of money on here. Brams is joining an elite club of douche-baggery.

This is why I left him negative rep. It is one thing to be a jerk like he was in the PM's but the blatant lying to try to ruin someones reputation and their livelihood is unforgivable to me.

The mods should be able to look at who is giving him green and if they are all new accounts and from the same IP address range (although its not too hard to come from varying IP ranges) ban them all.

I just love the morons who call a cue makers cues crappy even though they have never seen one, let alone used one, and especially right after they were trying to get one!
 
This may not be a popular thing to say, but red rep is childish. A lawsuit against the guy for libel, which you have evidence of, would get his attention.

Red rep means nothing to an asshole like him.

I don't have any dog in this fight but I will point out something concerning all people with red or green rep for that matter. At least twenty to thirty of us can pass out around 20,000,000 green rep points or 10,000,000 red rep points. It takes less than 15,000 points to light up all of the green squares, I don't know about red but I would guess either 7,500 or under 15,000 too.

Somebody disagreeing with somebody else in NPR can be coated with red paint in a heartbeat and I recently gave a new post by a newcomer green rep right after he posted. On the forum less than five minutes and he had over twenty million green rep points!

I'm certainly not going to tell you how to run your business but I do suggest that you look a little further than rep points. Red rep is definitely something that warrants further checking into but I can see how a very honest person could be buried in red.

This guy got red for me for two reasons. 1. He stated that he will follow Willeecues around and post nothing but bad about him. That is defamitory, and hurts an innocent persons reputation. 2. I have never given red for disagreeing with someone. I have given red for inflammatory posts, and blatant rule violations. Moderating this forum is a huge job. The mods count on us a group to help self mod this forum. Sometimes all people need is a slap on the wrist and everything is fine again.

You might be right. Looks like Brams is banned now and has evaporated from the forum. We will see if he comes back like he said he would.

In my line of work I had to listen to a lot of nonsense from people but I drew the line when somebody tried to take money out of my pocket and threatened my livelihood. I would bypass red rep and go directly to a search for a lawyer who would work on a no win, no fee basis.

Hopefully the guy is gone.
