Dear friends of 3c and Azers,

The Jasper's 3 Cushion Cliniic scheduled for the week of the Olhausen USBA Tour Event (Sept.20th-27th) has received a lot of attention and I have received a lot of encouragement from many of you. Thank you. It has been hard work. The USBA has decided not help fund this special event. That is unfortunate. The cost of bringing Dick Jaspers here is $7,000. We have $2,000 of students signed up and another $2,000 promised. We have a short fall of $3,000.

I am asking my fellow 3 cushion friends to please donate what you can. If we can get a number of small donations combined with a few larger donations, it would'nt take long to raise the $3,000 shortfall. We need to raise this amount before Aug.14th.

Dick Jaspers is a world class champion and a world class individual.

I wish you luck Steve. Did you get a full roster of students? I really wanted to attend, but it's just too costly for me to make the trip. Is the USBA contributing anything to the tournament purse, at least?

Steve; Hi, how are you? Steve, just a little curious why is the cost $7,000.00?, is this the guarantee he requests?, the cost of his travel, lodging for a week? On top of the clinic fees.

Steve, I hope you luck with Dick Jaspers Clinic. But this time I would have to go along with USBA Decision. Since this an Individual gain , more than overall promotion to the public on 3C.

Not sure what you mean by individual gain? Having Dick Jaspers live streamed doing a clinic for those not able to attend seems like a major plus to the entire 3C world.

Perhaps in fairness to you, you may not have all the facts. We have Dick Jaspers for the week. We can do clinics, live-streaming, matches between U.S. pros. etc.

Steve, by CaromClub Website: Nothing is mention about Live Streaming for Dick Jasper Clinic, nor is his Name on the Tournament Player list for the Tournament. Because this a B Player TOURNAMENT , nor anything on the site mention Pro match with player

There enough 3C live streaming from oversea I can watch, along with youtube and other sites with videos to watch. Of Dick Jasper and other 3C

Very good question. I don't know. We at the Carom Club are trying to focus on making sure all the participants will have a good time at the tournament and feel welcome.

Whatever the USBA decides it will decide.
 
Hey Blackballed,

I agree 100%. I tried my hardest. Dick Jaspers has been wonderful to work with through this whole process. If I had the money personally, I would fund it on the front end and get it back on the back end. But I just got a job after 1 1/2 years of being unemployed.

I was hoping a generous 3C enthusiast with deep pockets might step forward and save the day.

I will continue to keep promoting the game as many of you do.
