Here's my Diamond Pro, one of the tables used in the 2002 US Open 9 Ball Tournament.

Here's mine when I got it setup about 6 months ago. I've since added movie posters, etc. to the walls for a more "billiard room" look.

My Little Hole In The Wall

Some of the walls are a little bare. I still need some seating. The doors still need trim and the pockets on the table need finishing but she's coming along nicely.

Here's a better picture of the table. The couch was in the way and has been removed.

And a better one of the juke box.

Nice room. I'd be nervous with those vacuum tubes nearby! Looks like a great sound system!

You'll notice she breaks away from the stereo  and there's an unwritten rule - no power draws when facing the tunes .

Oh goodness. That is nice, and quite loud yet crystal clear I would imagine. Did you build those amps?

Very nice!!

Not too loud (60W/channel) but yes, the clarity is spooky. The amps were built from a kit back when Atmosphere offered them that way, but I did not build them. They look just like their factory offering at the time. Kind of an old school industrial look. It was a way to offer high end audio to those of us who like to tinker, as well as save a few bucks in the process. I would have loved to have built them but have upgraded them over the years.

Cheers,
Randy

Nice looking room, how much did that turntable cost? I'm going to build me one similar to that soon.

That's a Teres Audio 320 turntable. It's constructed with a Jatoba core and a thick Cocobolo exterior. Jatoba is a very stable wood and the core is made in a matrix for even more stability. Once the core is complete it has channels drilled throughout which are filled with lead shot. This helps dampen the table even more. The entire table weighs in around 75 lbs (the platter alone is 35 lbs). They no longer make this table so putting a value on it is tough. I will say this though, if someone offered me 4K I'd have to respectfully decline the offer.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone,

That's awesome up close, I was thinking it might be around $10k.

Damn, that pool table is monstrous. What kind is it? I love the legs on that thing. Looks like you could hide under it in a tornado and be fine.

SOLD ! In all honesty though, if Teres Audio was still making the table I'd guess it would sell in the 6-7K range. Add 1k for the arm and another 1k for the cartridge and your pretty close.

THANK YOU! I know the stereo is killer but this is a billiards site. I was wondering if I'd get a complement on the table. That's a 1916 Custom Brunswick Kling. I bought it in January and spent 4 months renovating it. She turned out way better than I'd hoped for and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks again for all the complements,
Randy
