I Invented this a while back when i was
just fooling around trying out different
draw techniques .
To perform this style of draw you will have to snap the tip on the cue ball kinda like snapping your finger's.

I have actually knocked off a couple of
tips performing this beautiful snap draw
shot,so be careful.

Looks like a piquet shot just not jacked up as much
 
thats a nice shot and all but you only show the impact of the cue and the result the after. you dont show how you hit it, unless that was your intention. and if so the was a lil waste of time to see another person draw a ball.
 
It's a nice shot , son , and you do it well , but you didn't invent it .
Or did you invent sex , too ?
Maybe you just got your definition of the word invent from Al Gore , the famous inventor of the internet .

OK seriously, did you really need to add the "wild west" themed text, the dramatic music, and then show the same two shots from the same two camera angles over and over again but miss out on the part that really matters like your cue actually hitting the ball??????

Rock on you slick filmmaker you.......

And BTW, why does it look like the table has those little page protector sticky rings all over it?

If you can do that shot on world regulation conditions....
..that is to say,balls,cloth and table....

.you can beat me for my watch
 
8pack...Drawing the CB has nothing to do with 'wrist action'. It's all about cuestick speed, and striking the CB low...best done with a very relaxed grip.

Hey MahnaMahna those sticky rings are used for drills or practice...so you can ensure the Object ball and/or cue ball are placed in the exact same spot over and over again to practice a certain shot.

The shot is illustrated in Joe Hood's book on trick shots which was published in 1908 -- see page 70. It's also in a lot of other billiard books including Hoppe's, Caras's and Byrne's.
