I'm working on a tool that will allow people to quickly diagram shots similar to the ones you're familiar with from instructional books. I'd really appreciate some feedback as I'm working on it.
Shot Generator
I intend on using the product myself to build up a collection of shots bundled together as a free iPhone/iPad app.
The idea comes from tools called "pastebins" which allow programmers to quickly exchange segments of code with each other.
I'm less than a week into development (couple hours a night), but should be able to add bezier curves to simulate masse and English shot trajectories by the end of the weekend.
Other features on the roadmap:
- Save to database to facilitate friendlier links.
- Use directional keys to position balls a pixel at a time
- Generate PNG, SVG and PDF files on demand.
- Categorize your type of shot
- Flag your shot as open to the public viewing
- Que angle indicator
- Notes
