Why is a pool cue one of the best mech tools?

most of the pyramids was built with string lines, water levels, levers and free energy...

level

John totes a back braking heavy bag full of levels but he only uses a pool cue to level tables/slates.....
I know'- he uses the machinist levels to level out his motor home when its parked so his marbles dont roll away while he is sleeping...

Off subject---

Assuming you were speaking of the labor..

Many alternative, often contradictory, theories have been proposed regarding the Pyramid's construction techniques.[23] Not all even agree that the blocks were quarried; Davidovits claims that they were cast in situ using a "limestone concrete", a theory which is rejected by other Egyptologists. The rest accept that it was built by moving huge stones from a quarry, being only unable to agree whether they were dragged, lifted or even rolled into place. The Greeks believed that slave labour was used, but modern Egyptologists accept that it was built by many tens of thousands of skilled workers. They camped near the pyramids and worked for a salary or as a form of paying taxes until the construction was completed.[citation needed] Their cemeteries were discovered in 1990 by archaeologists Zahi Hawass and Mark Lehner. Verner posited that the labor was organized into a hierarchy, consisting of two gangs of 100,000 men, divided into five zaa or phyle of 20,000 men each, which may have been further divided according to the skills of the workers.[24]
One mystery of the pyramid's construction is its planning. John Romer suggests that they used the same method that had been used for earlier and later constructions, laying out parts of the plan on the ground at a 1 to 1 scale. He writes that "such a working diagram would also serve to generate the architecture of the pyramid with precision unmatched by any other means." He devotes a chapter of his book to the physical evidence that there was such a plan.[25] The 1925 Cole survey discovered as part of some planning an actual Original Builder's Mark, engraved into the pavement perpendicular to the N face.

ahhh

This is not the forum to discuss this..but just to help you out, try and put magnetic south poles together and see what happens..

Yes I have many ideas and yes the pic has alot to do with the answer. If noone can guess by the weekend I will explain. Till then I'm hoping someone clever can figure it out, if your not a mech you have little chance.

whatever happened to this? Sure has been a long week.Go figure, just more hot air...

when setting up any modern table it's important to keep the slates tight especially when the table has been set up before as the screws will chase the previous locations. An easy way to eliminate this problem is to place two shorter cues in the bolt holes sticking down through. Then you just clamp and squeeze together. Locked up nice and tight. You can use cues on hand and wrap them to protect but it's better to bring 4 horse cocks.

And when working on antiques you just use the rail bolts.

finnaly we have closure!!!!

slate

So..you are using the cues to draw the slates tight together tight with no gaps?? Would you mind if I give you some pointers john?

WOW its official i will never read another one of your threads again, you are the biggest waste on the mechanics forum Sir and im sorry to have wasted my time reading 2 of your threads.

slate

Well aside from using clamps Of metal biting down on the joints on the sides to keep them even and tight together Plugging the holes which I do with wood dowels by drilling them out with 1/4 inch bit/ glue and using straps and using awls large size. yes please

Do what? A pic would be nice.....anyhow, ditch everything and start over as if you never had done it before..remember the best things are the simplest ones but sometimes over looked because of complex thinking..
