someone ask earlier in the thread about some fossilized ivory that was on a cue. They wanted to know what kind it was.
It is fossilized walrus tusk. It is the dentine from ithe inside of the tusk.
It is beautiful stuff and very durable.
Just wanted to answer their question since no one else did.

Yes, he did a great job on this cue; especially picking some nicely grained pieces that I will have to use a better camera on to show off. Here another picture with more of the ivory from my other thread.
