At least I think its a Gold Crown II. What years were GCII produced?
I have some questions as to what I should do with the table. Its setup right now and plays nicely. However there is some fit issues with the aprons and corner pieces. The table has a pretty fair amount of wear and tear with the furniture aspect of it..
Hopefully some here can help me with this list.
1. Full table restoration? Would it be worth the investment? The top rails are all dinged and dented up. Really doesn't affect the game play at all but its a far cry from a nice piece of furniture. Can the top rails actually be restored? The legs and aprons are rough aesthetically but are solid. The ball holder has fit issues and the dials are basically broken. Corner pieces show wear but are salvageable.
2. Approximate cost of full table restoration? Who does this type of work? Do they pick up or would I have to arrange for transfer? What kind of value would I have after a full restoration?
Good thing is the table plays great. Cushions are new.
I'd really like to bring this table back to life one way or another.
Thanks for any advice.
