Cue shop Still Open And Not for sale..
Thanks for all the offers...

Due to the continuing cancer problems with my wife, i am forced to sell
my equipment. All equipment will be sold with all associated parts and tooling that came with the equipment.. All equipment was purchased new on or after June of 2009... You all know what the stuff is worth. This is not a fire sale, so please no .25 cent on the dollar offers..65% of new price is a bargain..I dont have the time for packaging and shipping and I dont want to piece it out. I live in Charleston,sc.
I will try to post a video or pics of the equipment as soon as i can but
my time has been limited.. P.M me if there is any interest..

Here is a quick video of the equipment.. I made a couple errors... 1. I called the taper machine an inlay machine and viewing the bandsaw i said the the croos slide doesn't go with equipment, BUT it does. Sorry for the ,mistake, as i have a lot on my mind right now.

Very sorry to hear about your wife's health, and I certainly wish her a full recovery. I can also appreciate that you don't have alot time to waste on trying to sell this stuff, however I would suggest that pricing the items may help to expedite your sale. I am an interested buyer of this kind of equipment, but as a rule, if the seller hasn't cared to price the items, then I just move on.

I appreciate all the interest in my equipment. I have had many PM's requesting me to piece the equipment out. As i stated in the original post, i dont have the time or interest to do that.
Thanks for the offers that i have recieved, but .30cents and .40cents on the dollar isn't what i had in mind and i respectfully decline all offers.

Its not that people are cheap its that they want the best deal. You have over 10k in equipment and you have the additude thats its not worth your time to figure out a price for the equipment????? How long can it really take to come up with prices? I have intrest in one item. I dont play games or haggle. If I like the price I buy it If I feel its to much than I move on. If someone says make me an offer im going to offer a price I want to pay not what im willing to pay.

best of luck

loso,

You, Like others on these forums Do not seem to read the main post on threads. The man clearly explained what he is offering and why he's doing it that way. Shame on you.

I thought i made it clear. I'm glad to see someone got it right.
tks

This is a joke right? Your really going to bash me after the pm I sent to you and after the one you sent to me???? well played sir.

He does state in his first post that he will not sell piece mill and that he won't take low ball offers. He stated it once again later. I started to say something much earlier over the responses he was getting after he clearly stipulated he would not do that. What good is it to you if he would price the pieces individually if he won't sell them that way.

Okay im the asshole and im sorry.

It's apparent that the man has priorities and doesn't want to be bothered pricing or breaking the items up, but, when someone has decided to do a sale this way he had better be aware that he will not get any where near the money he has invested in the equipment. For the convenience of the easy sale he has to pay the price as the buyer must take many items that he has no use for so has no intentions of paying much for them as he will now have to pay for shipping expenses and he will have to take on the time and effort to find a buyer for the stuff he has no use for. I believe the seller could probably sell just 2 or 3 items and get as much money as he will find someone willing to pay for the whole shop.

=[

I dont think you're an asshole, tbh your suggestions would make it more timely and make more profit instead of going

Offer what you will and i'll reply

-then 100 replies later come to the realization your getting far lower than what you expected and let your auction run for a few months getting haggled....

or you could write:

XXX machine - $1500 O.B.O (Or Best Offer)

glws.

Teriffic video of all of the equipment! Great turn-key shop minus air handling and possibly a spray booth.

OK, first of all, I'm not trying to hijack this thread but.... I'm looking for 2 or 3 other people to go in with me and buy this equipment.
I need only 2 items: Hightower Deluxe lathe
Hightower taper machine.

If you need any of the other items here, PM me and we'll work out a deal so he can move on with this sale. You MUST be able to pick up the machinery at his location or arrange your own packing AND shipping.
You are not hijacking the thread. You are bringing it back to it's original purpose, which is trying to get the equipment sold.
