Anyone else call 48" cue the "baby stick"?

I've called my 48" cue the "baby stick", but apparently it is not really the most proper way of identifying the stick. I've seen these cues (36", 48", 52") as shorty sticks too...

Is it just me or do others call them "baby sticks"? If not, what is the proper name, or what do you call them?

in most of the places I've been in where a short cue is necessary , it is referred to as a "troubleshooter".
Just my personal experience , not carved in stone . . .
