Thank You Will...

Making this Cap was my 1st Ivory Point Inlay (Flat Bottom)..
With Real Silver Veneers.....Bridged...
42 Inlays for the "Butterflys"...
All White is Ivory...

Always a pleasure making Caps for you Will.
Each cap has it's challenges..
I take a lot of lickin's and heartbreaks,
doing what I can with what I have...

Will, Thank You... With each Cap, I learn something...

Thanks for viewing,
Alton .................

Alton,

You are simply amazing. I am so very fortunate to have met you, and to enjoy the world class craftsmanship you bring with your work. Simply amazing. You have taken a wonderful silver-veneered (with flames) Rasputin Ginacue and provided a top hat for the cue (and shafts) that transforms the entire cue to another dimension. Entirely.

You have repeatedly done this for me, along with many other AZers who currently enjoy the fruits of your labor. I don`t know which cap set it will be that I finally will not be shocked at how great the delivery is, but I have to admit I am still shocked with this set. And overjoyed! With SILVER on this one no less!!!

Your (my) Tad sets that I have on 8-10 Tads are stunning. I wish you could stand in front of the cues personally and see first hand the collective output of your Tad workmanship.

Or should I be saying this about the ivory handled, scrimshawed Schick?
Or the ivory handled Scruggs?
Or the other Ginacues?
Or.......

I am tempted to take them all off the cues, hire a professional photographer to come by the house and do a photoshoot of the cap sets. But the pro photographer would not do as well as you do with your photography!!!!!

As my old boss used to tell me, "Keep up the fair work!". ;):p:thumbup:

On to the next set! I`ll be in touch.

Take care,

Will Prout

Amazing work...
I am completely blown away with the beauty of these caps and how you managed to get the inlays to match proportionally to the cue.
Great work and looking forward to talking to you soon.

Alton, I see why you don't want to devote the time to making cues. Your talent with matching the cue caps would be hard to duplicate in cuemaking without a very well equipped shop, which I understand is not possible in your location. You sure do a hell of a job with the Joint Protectors!
