Ten Ball is not a bad idea
I noticed that they erased some of the rude unproductive posts made prior to my American Ignorance post, however they left my post untouched. Even hear at AZ we see that it is impossible to get away from the politics. Again if any person out there is interested in seeing rotation pool played correctly at the Open, I would suggest writing Berry and voicing your opinion about ten ball replacing the soft break 9 ball problem. As far as racking the 9 on the spot (playing 9 ball) that will not work either, then the one ball becomes almost wired in the side - with a little knowledge of the rack and an ugly (trick shot soft break.) If anyone can pocket a certain ball playing ten ball under normal conditions (loser rack) then I tip my hat to this person and more breaking power to them. I have said this before but I guess I'll be repetative, any player who will play nine ball but refuses to play ten ball is a rack mechanic.
These people suffer from a lack of talent and just want to try to shark and or deceive their opponent, the way to play rotation pool is winner break and the Ten Ball should and eventually will replace 9 ball in my humble opinion. Changing the fad of nine ball to Ten Ball will not fix the problems of pool however it would in my view make the players alot more happy and free from arguments. This in turn will help keep the peace and guarantee that the best player wins and not the player who enjoys the dreaded wing ball soft break of nine ball.
