Steel joint 5/16-14
2 shafts 13mm Ivory ferrules
Cue weights in at 19.4

You know, based on this and that cluster that happened on the old Palmer F cue, there should be a rule in this section that says, if you post a price and someone agrees to that price the first public post that says I'll take it, gets it.

Just an opinion.

well according to him i pm'ed first anyways so theres no problem. i'm just working something out on paypal. they limited my account today cuz they wanted me to change my password and security questions. i did that and its still limited i'm gonna have to call in to get that fixed asap cuz i want this cue :thumbup:.

I absolutely agree. Just post that you'll take it, and then send a PM.

i might have another cue that u would definitely try out first. i'll post pics of it later. it should be in the gallery tonight or tomorrow.
 
I don't want to get into a thing here but:

1) I sent the seller a PM before anybody posted

2) I then saw Danktree's post

3) I sent the seller another PM saying that Danktrees claimed it let him have it

4) Seller sent me a PM saying I was the first PM and did I want it?

5) I said yeah and I PayPaled him the funds

6) Then I got another message saying the seller had rechecked and Danktrees was first

7) I sent him a message saying just send me my money back and he said Danktrees and him had a shipping problem they were trying to sort out

I don't want to fight here. I don't want the cue that bad. I've never hit a Tasc and figured I could hit some balls and let my pal Monte try out a Tasc because he has been making noise about one and then I'd probably just sell it anyway.

So what should we do?

hmm thats troublesome. we didnt really have a shipping problem i was just asking him if he could overnight it to canada. i wanted the cue either way so it was never in question. regarding my post tho i actually posted after i pm'ed him so the post time is not indicative of when i first contacted him. if we go by posts then i was the first and only person to post. if we go by pm's then i have absolutely no idea who got it in first. but he sent me a pm saying i was the first one. if it turns out u got it in before i did then by all means it's yours, but if i got it in first then i would like the chance to purchase the cue. but it sounds like he made a mistake and when he rechecked he saw i pm'ed him first? i dunno what happened exactly, hopefully he can clear it up when he comes back on.

also, my paypal issue should be fixed momentarily, i called and they just wanted me to change my password and security questions. i dont know why they had to limit my account but its fixed now.

Personally Kevin, Its great that your not raising a stink, and giving Cedric
dibs. I also believe that the seller should issue a refund right away. No
iffs, ands, or butts. He PM'd you telling you that Cedric was in fact first.

Again, I don't want to be in a thing with you over this, the cue means nothing to me. I'm sure its just a deal of cross posts and I'm not claiming I had my PM in, when I saw your post in the thread I told him to sell it to you and his response was i was first and did I want it so I sent him the dough. After I got back from PayPal I got the message that he had rechecked and you were first.

This is not rocket science guys...

The first person to state they want the cue, whether it be by posting in the thread or by means of a private message, gets first rights to purchase the cue.

I like to keep my purchases private, and in doing so, almost never post in a thread that I want to purchase a cue.

You have to trust the seller is doing the right thing and actually selling it to the first person who wants it, not someone later that pm's them offering a higher price (which is not the case here, but sometimes happens).

The seller actually PMed me saying I was first which is why I paid him, but thanks for your opinion.

I was actually asking Cedric what he thought was fair.

paypal issue was resolved, dunno why they had to limit my account access just to get me to change my password and security questions but they just reviewed it and restored it so i can i send the money any time. i would like to get this resolved tho. if i am the first person to contact him saying i'll take it then i would definitely want to buy the cue.

oh i dunno, cuz in the same post u said he contacted u after he rechecked the pm's and he said i was first. he also sent me a pm saying i was first so i think the fair thing would be for him to recheck it once more and give a definitive answer with the post times etc. if u were first then it's yours, if i was first then it's mine? i do want the cue but rules are rules, if u contacted him first then it's yours. i guess we'll have to wait until he comes back on before we get an answer.
