What are your favorite Accu-Stat videos for one-pocket, or 9 ball? The only one I own is 2006 DCC Alex P vs. Reyes in the Semi's, and Jason Miller vs Reyes in the finals.

there is a one pocket match that takes 2 disc's. I cant remember who was playing but Buddy Hall and Corn Bread Red . it doing the commentary with Cardone I believe. I cant remember who was playing, Perhaps Mike Segal i'm not sure who was playing. The commentary was the best, Red never did any commentary they grabbed him as he was walking by and gave him a mic. The match was great as well as the commentary.

Sorry I cant remember the exact name, its in Vegas and I'm in Germany. If I wasnt I'd go get it and post up the exact disc. Since I cant, Just go to Accustats site and look for Billy Burge, Buddy Hall as commentators and thats the one, it was a tournment in Philly. Its hands down the best Accustats tape/disc ever. It runs real long too, hill/hill I think.

I have a good one from derby city where Archer plays Orcullo. Danny DiLiberto was funny in that one talking about how Orcullo wasn't the best in the world and he should prove it for years before everyone is calling him the best. I completely agree with DD. Also its hilarious anytime another announcer agrees with DD, He's always right in his own mind until proven worng and then hel'll give credit where its due but I just think DD is a funny commentator.

I have an older one featuring a match between Jeff Carter and Efrin Reyes. What makes it special is that Accustats had to make a decision prior to taping as to which match they would commentate. They chose to cover Earl's match rather than Efrin's, but recorded both matches. Carter went on to play jam-up pool and beat Efrin easily. After seeing the match and how well Carter played, Accustats asked Jeff to join them in commentating the already recorded match. He agreed to do it and it ended up being a ball by ball narration of his thought process for every runout. He explains why he chose a particular shot or pattern for the situation. It's the most informatinve accustats 9 ball match I've ever had the chance to watch.

Chris...Hands down best match ever!!!!!!!!!! Is an easy one...It is also regarded by many to be the best match by 2 players ever on tape and I have it....It s Johnny Archer and Jim Rempe in the sands regency 92 I believe. Its a race to 13 I think and both guys shot over a 950:eek: Goes hill hill, and has Buddy Hall and Keith McCready as commentators. If there is a better played match by two people on video I would HAVE to be shown because I dont think there is:thumbup:

That one above was nine ball, one of the best one pocket Accu stats ever has to be Mizerak versus Shannon Daulton in the legends on one pocket..I think that was also 92 but I could be wrong. Shannon is 19 and in a race to 5 it also goes hill hill. I have that one also, its on two different tapes. Unbelievable match played by both and just awesome to match

If 10 ball counts, and you count TAR as AccuStats , my pick would be the race to 100 vs. Duel and Shane (mostly to watch shane play) and the DCC race to 21 between Shane and Alex P.

For 9-ball, one of my faves is the race to 120 between Efren and Earl, think that's on 9 or 10 tapes, not sure how many DVDs. If you can't get them all, get the last day of the match.

For some history, Medina vs. Incardona for the 9 rack run (highest in a tournament to this day I think).

Another great one would be the World match that Wu won, don't know if that's on Accustats or not.

I don't play/watch one pocket, so no comments there. I would pick anything up with Efren/Scott Frost/Daulton/ etc.. though if I was to get some.

there are so many good ones, comebacks, rack running etc.... but for a truly "timeless" (as grady outs it) accustats video.... the best, classiest pool production i think ive EVER seen is the varner vs fusco one pocket philidelphia style.... player review with fusco and grady. the tape just oozes with respect and knowledge for a very lovely game. it dont get any better.... AND, the match has a GREAT ending to boot-- very exciting.

I saw Shannon play the Olathe Kansas one ball tourney in 92..He was just the best shotmaker I have ever seen on a 1 pocket table..

Well if you ever get to see this video, there is one shot that Shannon shoots, where after he makes it the cue ball does some crazy stuff and he hits it a thousand miles an hour, and the annoucers just laugh and say "what happened" and I think Incardona said "thats the sound of a 19 years old kid, pocketing a ball" lol it is a sick shot and I dont really know what happened..still:D

Hands down, 2001 US Open finals, when Corey Deuel aces Mika 11-0. Mika looks like he's being waterboarded between racks. I've watched that tape too many times.

Corey showcased the cut break - which stunned the pool world and has created rules, strategies, and controversies which still exist in today's competition. This was one of the first uses of the Sardo Tight Rack which also enabled the perfection of the cut break.

It truly was a historic, gound breaking moment in pool. To see a talented world-champion like Mika helpless in the chair like a normal human is truly amazing.

As far as one pocket goes the one that you have is one of if not the best. I'm not real sure what others would be among my favorites as I have a couple hundred videos from them.

Nine Ball choice for me is Earl vs Davenport at the Sands. Three set finals. Little dance at the end from the winner. Archer/Rempe is cool, but McCready coughs into the mic every 20 seconds and most people I know need to mute it after a while.

One Pocket- have to agree with Fatboy here. No tape is more entertaining than Sigel vs Ervolino with Billy, Freddie, Cornbread, and Buddy on the commentary.

I only buy one pocket and banks videos, so I can't help with 9-ball. You can't go wrong with Cornbread Red vs. Bugs Rucker from '91, they banked at everything. Grady vs Billy from Roanoke '94, and Alex Pagulayan vs. Efren '08. They're all amazing.

Ahha I found the one-pocket match that Fatboy was referring to here.

It has Grady, Buddy, and Cornbread listed as the commentary hosts.

Wasn't in the catalog. Evedently there is much more if you click a catagory. It takes you to a list of events.

All the MOVES!

What are your favorite Accu-Stat videos for one-pocket, or 9 ball? The only one I own is 2006 DCC Alex P vs. Reyes in the Semi's, and Jason Miller vs Reyes in the finals.

....as far as 1-pocket goes, this match between Jose Parica and Cliff Joyner at the D.C.C., virtually has all the MOVES covered, in the game of 1-pocket! An excellent match to learn the game of 1-hole from. These 2 "World Class" players are involved in an end game sequence that last for 23 minutes, on the last ball on the table, at the end of the first game, a TREMENDOUS shot selection sequence! I've watched a lot of Accu-Stats 1-pocket matches, this one has it all, along with excellent commentary by Billy Incardonia and Danny DiLiberto.
(IMHO) Top self all the way!;)

I own the Earl vs Efren match where Efren makes the "z-kick" great match.

For awesome entertainment the best one I own is Keith mccready vs Jose parica.
