FS "Traditional" Paul Mottey Cue "Sale Pending"

I have a beautiful Paul Mottey cue for sale. I have played with this cue and it has a outstanding hit to it. The cue with both shafts weighs 19.8 oz. It is an ebony into BEM with four veneers, blk., blue, blk, and wht and ivory spears in each point. It has a ivory joint w/ ivory stitch rings at the joint and on the shaft collars. Bushka ring above the wrap, leather wrap and an ebony butt sleeve with 4 ivory split diamonds. Butt weighs 15.9oz. One shaft is dead straight the other has a very slight taper role, less than a credit card and has no affect on play. Butt roles dead straight. I am selling as I just received a new B. Szamboti to play with. New price "SOLD" or near offer. PM me with any questions. Happy holidays and thanks for looking.
Mike

I love the cue but would have liked to seen another ring at "B" . One ring just doesn't make sense to me.

Ron is correct, also a beautiful cue. Also, I believe the place you are referring to is typically called the "D" spot. If I am correct, A and B are near the joint, C and D on either side of the wrap and E near the butt. I may be wrong though, would not be the first time.

Ok, this clears things up a bit, but I'm still sorta confused. If the "E" spot is near the butt, where exactly is the "G" spot?

Nice cue, btw.

The "G" spot is inside the "V" spot..Which is just above the butt.

Thanks for clearing up the info on the Bushka Ring. I have a Szamboti that also has the Bushka ring. It adds a lot to the appearance of the cue. This Mottey plays wonderfully. Great hit. It will make someone a great Christmas gift.

It really is a hugely fantastic cue with a very nice, confident hit to it. I used to own this cue and trust me on this, it's a good investment both playability, design and execution-wise.
Back then I have sold it within 23 hours, I hope you have the same interest in it. Best of luck,
David

Thanks everyone for the great comments. Now, let's get this cue sold. The market can't be that bad.

You are right on and that syle ring above the wrap is a copy of one of Szamboti's cue styles.

Yes Sir, I believe the ivory inlays below the wrap are a Szamboti style also. That is a very sharp and classy looking cue. G/l with the sale.

Mottey Cue

This cue market must be dead. Maybe I should take this to ebay to see what happens? Come on AZ this is great cue.
