Unbelievable mini veneer mitering machine!!

Thanks everyone, cue building is so exciting stuff. I just love now every time I have to do veneers its going to be so so much easier , faster , funner and with super great results.for a 20% down deposit I will build anyone this saw setup , with the veneer glue fixture. I will set the blade angle and it will include the carbide blade. I will ship it in a small wood crate. you can call me when you receive it and I will help out in any way. PM me for price. D Hill

I will make the veneer glue jig out of Delrin it will do all 4 . I like to then glue my point stock in hear. it keeps you from breaking the veneer open ,because in the cue its only supported good in the bottom of the forearm.

Does the price included SURGICAL RUBBER TUBE AND VENEER GLUE JIG?:D Also I want my machine serial number start with 001?:grin:
 
Problem solving a way for something to be better says alot about your work, I definately would purchase a cue from you if I wasn't so damned broke.

Nice! Looks like you could use the fixture to laminate the veneers with pretty even pressure before mitering, too.
 
Great Miter Veneer Set Up

Hi,

I spent some time in the Hills Cue shop this afternoon cutting mitered veneers with Darrin.

Anyone who has had any problems with this work coming out perfect with no gaps will be surprised at the ease in which you can get perfect miters for your points.

My hat is off the Darrin as he has simplified and made very repeatable this process.

The stuff he is doing with his techniques is raising the bar in cue making and he is truly flying in rarified air with his full splice cue and this mitering set up.

Thank you Gary, I have had an over whelming amount of PMs on this. I am still taking orders , I'm building 5 at a time. once I fulfill 15 orders the price is going up , so get your order in now. this machine is costing me a lot of time and money, as I'm helping us the cue makers out in a big way this machine ''ROCKS''. It will save you ''LOTS'' of time and money in the long run , worth every penny IMO..
 
Its worth every penny and its nice that Darrin is willing to share his knowledge. Even tho he is making some money on this, like Rick said, he is raising the bar on cue making and he could just keep it to himself easily and let the rest of us grind away.

Sorry I have to crap out at this time Darrin but thanks for the offer anyway.
I've been saving for a rather costly post hole auger to make a little extra money for the household. That comes first and foremost.

I do foresee in the future that I will own one of those jigs tho.

you won't be number 2 that's taken but you will fall within the first 15 . I have responded to over 75 PMs on this machine. is there a need for it yes it works and works well. remember I build cues full time so finding time and ordering rails ,saws , materiel's machining time whats left basically I'm just doing You guys a favor. nobody points a finger when a highend cue maker charges way to much they pay it. I feel I'm not doing that at all. this machine does not exist at all in the world , I'm the man. it was my brilliant idea so if I'm offering it to you I should get paid..... Kenny I like you a lot your a vary nice guy , but that post was uncalled for ,maybe you meant it in a good way ether way I'm not mad. to everyone go try to make one yourself and after your done please tell me my price was off and you all no the price I'm sure I PM everyone.
