Which would you rather learn from? I need some Ideas, and I thought I
might be able to get some good ones, here on AZB.

I would appreciate your thoughts and or Ideas.

I know that "hands on" Is the best, but I would like to put something together on video or text. Maybe video taping me and doing commentary afterward...Thank You, John B.

DVD If I have a choice. I am not much into books.
I would love to own your DVD though

Dvd

DVD for sure.

You may want to include a phamlet for those whom want to practice some banks at the poolhall, but cannot watch a DVD in there.

Books are nice but visuals are always better in my opinion. The main advantage of a book is that you can bring it to the table with you. Videos though are easier to express those subtle adjustments that might not make sense on paper.

Go for the video and some rock solid talking about what you are doing.

I agree with the video, with commentary of what your doing with each shot.

I would like to see an instructional video with a camera view right between the eyes of the person shooting. " see it through their eyes". Even with the best camera angles its hard to see what the player is actually doing

Dvd would be my choice. I do like the addition of a pamphlet as well though.

Video all the way. I especially like Accu-stats or TAR video's where often times there are two pro's doing the commentary.

I have a friend that drag races high dollar dragsters. He has a camera that mounts to his helmet and shows what he is looking at. He said he's used it playing pool and said the video from it was cool. Definitely an idea.

Hey, Ya know.. I have an Idea just for that.

Stay tuned...Thank you! John B.

A refernce PDF file featuring graphical representations of the collection of bank shots with notes, would be a useful addendum to the DVD.

This would provide the student with the ability print out the reference shots from the video and take with them to their practice table.

Cool!

The video with pamphlet sounds kinda cool. I enjoyed Mosconi's little pocket-sized book.. it was easy to carry around, followed a pretty steady path and had simple diagrams.

Maybe have a small bookish-type thing that is broken down into 1, 2, 3 & 4+ rail shots. That way, you can flip to whatever section to find the shot fit what you have available. Also a subsection for shortening/lengthening banks.. possibly including the affects of bouncy/dying rails.
