Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know that I started a thread with info and details about the upcoming Super Billiards Expo. This thread can be found in the "Tournament Announcement" section, as I realize that is probably where it belongs. (link below)

Please forgive me for posting this here, but I know way more people browse this section and I want to be able to help anyone with any questions they may have as best I that I can. I hope an event of this size involving so many industry players allows me the opportunity to post once here, and direct traffic there...

I'm going and I'm taking my 62 year old buddy who has never played in a pool tournament. I have been listening to him for 30 years about what a great player he is because he beats everyone in our men's club (heh-heh except me!)

I can't wait to see how he reacts. Plus I haven't played in the Expo since the late 90's.

Haha, yeah, they've been getting lots of snow, hope we can dodge it. If not, at least you just have to get there - there is so much to do you'll never have to leave :)

Yep I'm booked there, and currently snowed in here. I'm planning on driving the 600 or so working on bringing a surprise player to the 3C but have to work on some details. I got him a room reserved and he has a ride. So what's the problem.

Awesome event. Last year was my first, now it's just something I will do every March.

If anyone is going bring lots of quarters for the "practice tables" and lots of $20 bills for me! Unreal 23hr/5day action. They close for an hour at 6am to push back the mess, then it's on again at 7am. Terrific vendors, pros everywhere you turn, just alot of fun.
 
At last.....a thread about the best pool tourney of the year!

I went to the Derby this year, and from no fault of the DCC my experience was limited to very few experiences beyond my bathroom! :)

I was sik as a dog at the derby and I reserved my cash flo for the upcoming
SBE!

SO, anyone who wants to bet the upcoming SBE.....pm me,,,,I'm sure we can work it out!@

Maybe I will see you there Gerry, would be cool to hang out, I am working on making a road trip there and then to NY to see family and friends, really working hard to make it happen. I also got sick at Derby, many people did and passed it along to people at home, sucks. :(

The Pro Event will start Thursday morning, play begins at 11:30 am

Sorry for any confusion, guess it would be wise to post the official start time. :o

My travelling partner just got Wednesday off. Now we can play in the warm-up. You got me for the thee amateur events already. Looking forward to a great weekend.

Can you do something about arranging an AZ meeting area? Brian has already started a thread to that effect.

I would like to, I've talked with my dad about it... hopefully we can come up with something... Things start happening so fast around now that some of our ideas don't come to fruition... Will keep you posted if we come up with something.

Super Billiards Expo bump

the Super Billiards Expo needs it's own section on the forum someplace. it is a part of our sport and it does all the positive things we need to promote.

Allen, the fact that there is not a hotel connected to the new location just doesn't work for my wife and I as we have to go back and forth to our room several times a day. Do you know if the hotel, to be constructed, will be large enough for a high number of Expo attendees in addition to your staff and the vendors?

I'm just wondering if I have attended my last Expo.
 
2012 How about this year ?

Will you be having the scotch doubles event this year ??

Also I heard that the $50 for a crack at $400 tourney ,will be going on all week long ,not just on Wednesday warm up ,, is this true ??????

Thanks Jeeves, I'll do my best to check in more often with the forums now to try and address peoples questions and concerns...
