I'm so sad that my friend Vernon Litton passed away before he could see his photo in my book. I wrote a little about him about the time he came to see me in Memphis, I was only 15 years old ! He was a good guy and also a person you want in your corner if any s--- went down ! So many of the great characters are leaving us as well as players, Wade Crane was my hero! How is the book doing,sales,i hope you the best,it is a very interresting book for people like us that love pool,and also for anybody that wants to hear about other kinds of life styles,such as for people that dont know much about pool inside and out,you explain it really well!

@ richiebalto, thanks so much for the compliment ! Sales are good but I really get a kick out of it when people say how much they enjoyed it ! I've told some of these stories to my friends throughout the years and they liked them. I wasn't sure if it was cause they liked me or what. But as I get such nice replies from pool players and people I don't know, it makes me feel so good inside ! As crazy as some of the stories are they are 100% true and there are still people around that were with me in those tight spots ! A few of them are dead now or in the joint ! So pool players be CAREFUL !

i have enjoyed the parts of the book I read, I been so busy I havent had time to read it. One thing is for sure is its a book that will be good to read several times and you can read the stories you like because they are are not all connected-a great format.
I know that Bobby has so many more stories cause I have heard some that are not in this book, I bet in a year Bobby will write another book. I can see him now sitting on the beach talking into a recorder laying down more tails from the good old days to share with his readers. I know he spent so much time on the road that when he thinks of things that happened it reminds him of other things-its the same for most people I believe.
I sure do hope that he does good enough with his first book that he develops a good size readership that will buy his future books, I know he wouldnt ever write a junk book. Everything Cotton does he does first class, thats why I like him so much. He is funny too, man can he lay it down with his mouth piece. He can charm the panties off the you know what:grin-square:. He is awalys fun to hang out with. I can see it now the second book Cotton Tails vol 1 and if that works vol 2 etc etc etc. Not a bad gig writing books living on the beach-with a good pool room near by.

I have enjoyed the book very much. I hope you write another one in the future and if so let me know as I want it. It is a good read for pool players and people that just like good stories as well.

Dont worry about the beach, Fatboy has been laying down his moves all week:wink:, I'm comming to Vegas today. We will be at the beach real soon, real soon.
PS: Jack is getting real mean for some reason, like out of control mean. he bit the hell out of my foot the other night for no reason. not playing around, he was out to chop me up. I hope he calms down or he aint comming to the beach. Jack is my cat who was a great rail bird, he likes to sweat action. I'm not sure why he is getting mean, I'll ask him today when I get to town.

Started reading your book Bobby, very good and an enjoyable read. I'm only a little bit into it, your still a kid playing in Memphis at the point where your starting to travel to Alabama and Mississippi. But it moves along well, it's like talking with you, which is always fun. Great job!

Well i enjoyed the book so much i finished it in about 3 settings!!would take it with me shooping with the wife, turn her loose and read couple hr.ha it is a great story of pool on the road. and i know as i shared a few of your trips myself. but i dont dare to retell them. but have had a good life with my pool friends. retired, then opened a pool room 13yr now and the kids love to hear some of my tails to. THANKS COTTONFOR THE MEMORIES----'STICK'KYTLE 73YR !!!!!!!
