Any Tv Mike Fans?? Speak up please.

I got the mass PM from Mike promoting some of his products. It looks like he broke one of the forum rules by sending it out. Hopefully it's just a brief time out. I doubt he intentionally broke the rules here.
 
I've seen some of his shows which are provided free, so why not support him? Hopefully, like other said, the ban is temporary. If not, I'd like to ask the moderators to please reconsider.

Anyone should know not to send spam to people's PM box. It is called "Personal Message" for a reason. You should only be getting a personal message from someone that has written to you specifically. Mass PM''s are geared to reaching a large number of people with the same message, usually to try and sell something for personal gain.

In this day and age of the ability to mass spam thru phone or email, it's nice to know that someone is protecting a small little area of the world, where there is a sense of privacy and personal space.

Nothing against him personally, I would want AZB to crack down on anyone that did that. There's a entire forum for Buying and Selling merchandise. There's certainly no need to send unsolicited bulk messages to people's PM boxes, where they trust they are safe from unwanted cold call selling.
 
Spammimg in any manner is bad. I am sure he will take his little break serious and be back with a different way of doing things. The rules for spamming are very clear. I support all the streamers and thank them very much for all the work they put into bringing pool to my house.
 
Seems like this Mike guy is always doing things without thinking to much about who's toes he is stepping on !

Plus he has no business behind a microphone !

I NOW see that the mass personal messages are the problem. I didnt give them much thought previously. I can understand why and can see why its not allowed. Fair enough! MIKE! If your watching,,this is the problem.
From what Im seeing ,,the thread promoting his DVDs was OK. I think?? But not the PMs.
I'm betting he knows he made a mistake.

Mr. Wilson/Moderator: Can you consider sending him a set of rules,,,make him sign them in blood,,lol and "un-ban the man!"

Mike,,I tried to help you,,from someone you don't even know. Not sure if I did or not, but I tried. Good Luck. Keep up the streaming. Get Sherodika to read the rules for you!! lmao
 
I don't want to take sides here, as I have stated I don't like unsolicited PM's, but to some people PM means private message not personal message, so if to him it meant private as opposed to personal then it could help explain sending it that way.

TvMike here, thanks for your support and for your kind words and viewership. I do internet marketing as my first business so I have ability to create mass marketing campaigns on many levels. It was firstly my intention to mass message everyone to let them know about the Bad Blood match 2nd, and 3rd with Johnny Archer Vs Earl Strickland PPV not because I really will be making the money from the event but because so much in the future could be riding on this. We have Budweiser sponsoring this event and many others that have got behind it through Mark Cantrill’s hard work and I would hate to see an event of this magnitude fail. Fail for the future of bigger sponsorships and bigger events and similliar events.

I am going to do the best job I can technically on this event I’m even working on getting a 3rd camera into the mix as we speak but I don’t have the funds right now to get it. I will sell my cue if I have to come up with the funds. Regardless if I can produce the best show possible if people are not in the seats so to speak the sponsors may not be as interested next time. I was sending out links to the stream site, my post about dvds and my schedule and the bad blood match which you can now buy tickets for upfront on my site. Just trying to get the word out in the most wide manner as possible and I’m sorry if that offended you

So I apologize to anyone if my newsletter PM upset you I will not do that again.

True my friend BUT not when you go into a venue and start broadcasting unauthorized and using the bandwidth that the authorized streamers need to make their product work (DCC) !

Not very smart at all imo !

Tom, you might want to edit your post and then send that to Mike or Mr Wilson in a PM - I believe that it is against the rules to post a message for someone who is banned. I know you just want to help TVMike, but I don't want to see you to get in trouble either.

Let me guess,,,you stream videos and make money from dvds,,,and Mike is the competition. Oh,,, and you are not a fan!
Sounds like you are saying he is not authorized to stream videos and is sneaking into places setting up his cameras and broadcasting without permission of the event operator. LMAO In most cases,, he is the event operator and have people begging for him to come into there venue and stream.
He may have been wrong to send the PMs but where is all this coming from??

He is saying exactly what Mike did.

He is saying TVMike went to DCC and started streaming without permission. When he did that, it took additional bandwith that was already spread thin.
It caused lag for other streamers that had permission.
 
I think he does a good job on his streams, it also gives pool fans FREE pool on a weekly basis to watch. On the other side he is clueless about the game, it's a good thing the lady that helps him is there to actually put some knowledgable insight to the sport. As for the PM's I understand rules are rules but I doubt it seriously hurt anyone. There is a lot of crying about spam on the net all the time but the ones crying don't have no problem logging into his FREE events either.
