100% Cotton NOT Allowed?

Hmmm....

Seems like a lot of people don't cotton to this rule....
...'least not a 100%

Soooo a non-white t-shirt with no graphics and less than %100 cotton is fine??? hmmm why not just say bussiness casual of semi formal attire is required?

Polyester has come a long way for sure. Im sure many remember those early 'knits' that snagged on everything and melted under a hot iron and looked like crap to boot.

I don't remember this either.. :D

i see plenty of boobage especially from jeanette and ga yung kim. not complaining, just saying.

Response to quote: That was tried but different players had a different ideas of what was acceptable attire.

Response to the whole thread:
From what I heard, the membership requested a less formal dress code a couple years ago, and this is what the committee came up with. It was necessary to spell it out because there were players who wanted to wear t-shirts and khakis and tennis shoes and would test the boundaries. So, the current dress code reflects the move to a sportier code while not allowing some specific items that can be considered too casual.

Snarky comment: I can't believe that this is really a topic that needed discussion.

This must rule out feminine hygiene products as well. Maybe not...what is the string made of?

I had just never seen those dress code rules before and thought maybe someone could shed some light on it. :p

They are playing in a bar. Jeans, shorts, sneakers, t-shirts should be the dress code. WPBA check the year, it's 2011 not 1940. Johnnyt

They should be playing in whatever the dress code is. The players voted and approved this dress code, so why does it bother you so much?

They are playing to become professionals. That might not mean something to you since the WPBA is struggling, but it means something to the players. This isn't some bar league. So there is nothing wrong asking them to adhere to a presentable dress code.

Find something important to bash the WPBA about.

And while their being so professional, what happened to my $100 donation to support the WPBA? I was to be mailed stuff in 6-8 weeks...that was SEVEN months ago. I could bash on and on. Johnnyt
