Venom's pool trick shot #57

Florian,

This is amazing stuff you are doing here. I have watched a handful of your videos and you have really taken things too a new level.

I am curious, what is your level of play at regular pool games? I assume you are very skilled there as well.

Thanks again for posting the videos,
Ian

great stuff. i love the 50 second mark and about the 1 min 50 second mark, and the 2 masses at once going in opposite directions is a winner too. the jumping around not for me but the shots themselves are fantastic.

Some of those shots are a lot of fun - but definitely say to me "this guy's been spending too much time alone".

Like the rolling across the floor in the chair, the summersault on the floor, the awkward positions on the table...

The rest of the shots are trademark Venom though. :) I REALLY like the shot at 2:21, I had to rewatch that one about 4 times.

Never ceases to amaze. I like the one sliding past the table on an office chair. Kind of reminds me of the Office Chair Olympics.

Like Jesse Alred, just when you think that they might have hit the limit, they go and raise the bar one notch higher.

Always thinking out of the box..... Great job and great guy.... Met him at the SBE, very down to earth... Keep it up Florian!

Lol actually I'm spending less and less time just messing around the table because I've to practice the regular book shot too...Now it's more like I write my ideas down and then take a night or something and try to figure out if it's possible or not lol

wasn't sure of the 'action' shot would remind people so i just put a few...just wondering if it's a way to explore or not... And for the time shot at 2:21, this one was really though, probably one of the thoughest in the video...

Thanks for the positive feedback, i really appreciate ;)

Amazing stuff dude.. What kind of tip do you use on your cue for doing this kind of stuff ??

Right now I'm using a special kind of kamui with only 4 layers (soft) cause i was breaking too many multilayered tip lol but honnestly for masse as soon as it's not too hard, you can use pretty much any kind of tip from elkmaster to triangle or lepro....

I was doing all these shots last night,i was just about to go for the grand daddy of them all & then my wife woke me up,b***h

Funny, I was just going to comment on that 2:21 shot as well.

I never gave a rats ass about trick shots until I first saw Florian. He, in my opinion, has single handedly redefined this entire genre of pool. Whenever he posts a "Hey guys I have a new video thread" --- the last thing I think of is, "Oh great, more mundane trick shots." I literally can't wait to see what came out of the skunk works.

Mike Massey definitely paved the way for new guys like Florian; however, whoever doesn't think "Venom" isn't the best on planet earth at this stuff is (as Earl would put it) a fool.

If trick shot competitions were truly "open" where each player can pick whatever shot they wanted for each inning, those other guys would have ZERO chance.

My only hope for this genre is for the rules to be rewritten to allow true ad-hoc shot selections that promote extemporaneous matches...without the need to select "book shots" (that made me hate trick shots to begin with).

Great job Venom--- I'm a huge fan.

I couldn't agree more. Venom's vids are appointment viewing for sure! Keep up the great work Florian!

If Trickshot Magic adds the office chair shot into the selection of shots they allow, I will start watching.

Very cool!! Your rolls and chair ideas were epic. I loved the blindfold and hat being thrown down at the end also.
You should make a video with all your shots being done like you were a samurai warrior, kicks and flips and twirling cues. You've got a bunch of them already, just compile them into one theme video.
I bow to you, master of the masse!

I love how pumped you get when you make a tough shot...not trying to be all cool in front of the camera

Honestly... I don't know . You scratched on many of your shots

I think you need to work some on your cueball control :D.

Other than that, very impressive and very creative!
