If your looking for a TAD that was built when TAD himself was still doing work then this is the one for you. 4 points of ebony into BEM with 4 veneers (black, red, blue, and natural). Notched diamonds in each point as well as in the center of each window in the butt. Can't forget about the mother of pearl dots in 2 locations in the butt. White with green spec linen.I'll let the pix do the rest of the talking but the cue has no dings or dents in finish and is in as good of condition as you will find considering it's age. The # under the bumper is 1320 which i believe dates it to around '91.

Comes with an original TAD shaft with an ivory ferrule and the other shaft was made by dennis searing with a micarta ferrule. The cue is fresh from a refinish and wrap from Bryan mordt of BCM cues. And although I know some on here like to keep everything original, when i decided to do it my choices were original maker (Tad can be a little difficult to deal with + with full disclosure i believe the finish work they do whether it's materials or execution to be their achilles heel) or have bryan do it and his work especially his finish work is second to none and not have to worry about shipping it. Tips do not leave the table when rolled so i would consider this cue to be straight. Also comes with matching JP's with ivory tops (probably a $150.00 value) Now the specs:

Butt: Weight 15.1 oz.
Length 29"

TAD shaft: Weight 4.2 oz.
Length 29 1/2"
Diameter: 12.60 mm
Tip Kamui black soft

Searing shaft: Weight 3.7 oz.
Length 29 1/4"
Diameter 12.75 mm
Tip Kamui med

And the goods: Note: The 1st 2 pix were taken before the refinish/rewrap. The cue currently looks like the last 3 pix with white with green spec linen. Just posted them because you can see the cue so much better then the pix of the 3 after the new wrap is on it.

Just went over the cue today and wanted to add the pic below as I want no misunderstandings RE: condition. It's not much but I am anal so future owner will know everything I can see. I'd describe it as minuscule multiple scratches that can barely be felt with a finger with the circumference of the TAD logo and obviously is very light in color.

I agree. This cue looks really nice Bryan does great work. Good luck with your sale!!

Nice cue. Well worded and very accurate description. Of all the makers, the one where its most OK to go outside for a refinish, I'd agree it's TAD.

That guy who made the 2nd shaft I hear is no slouch.

Good luck with it.

lOOKS LIKE THE DAY IT CAME OUT OF THE BOX.

I've seen a few and yours is real nice. A friend said I could have his for 6,000. Yours is a good price at that. Thats his starting price. Its like collecting Szamboti- they'll never go down in price. and they are all players. I've seen a couple sell for 3,000-3,500. but definitely not as clean as yours. top of the line. There are 2 similiar cues to yours for sale at Hawaiian Brians. Brian Loved Tads. All I have from Tad is there tournement PINS. MARK

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah the guy who made the second shaft makes cues too...if he'd just cut down on his mass production style so he could concentrate on quality he might make a name for himself someday...:p
