Ending this Sunday evening 5/08, I'm auctioning off a completely rare and extremely collectible Burton Spain Ginacue. I think the cue is described OK in the auction, but please let me know if there's something I can clarify.

My guarantee is simple, 100% satisfaction or return for complete refund. If the buyer feels that their dissatisfaction is due to a misdescribed auction, I refund all the postage as well.

This auction won't disappear suddenly. I don't end auctions early. I don't have items for sale locally. This auction will run to the end. Interested buyers will all have an equal chance to bid and win the auction.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Good luck and thanks for looking,

Kevin

Do you allow oversea bidder?

Nope. I can't accept PayPal from most overseas locations (and eBay requires that I at least only list electronic payment options to protect the buyers), plus I won't ship ivory (the ferrules are) Internationally. Most of my International clients use a reshipping service like

Thanks

Kevin

Why

Please put Ebay cue in your listings so Azers won't waist time looking at another ebay cue.
How hard can it be.
Good luck. Nothing personal. But you are on my ignore list after today.
Nick :)

Nick

You are the first to mention it, and seeing I'm on ignore I guess you won't see this, but as you are the first to mention it and you won't see my stuff from now on, I'm figuring we are all good.

And to answer your question of why? I figure plenty of guys on AZ like to see what's available and what it sells for in a transparent environment, more out of curiosity in many cases more so than actually buying interest, and, of course, I really don't see what harm I'm doing.

Thanks

Kevin

Kevin this is the first ebay listing of your's I have seen with a reserve price.

I don't use reserves much, and never do with my own product, but its a little different trusting the market with items I own from convincing a consignor to trust it (especially in this economy). To be honest, some auctions look at little scary at the end and I just can't take the pressure if its someone else's stuff I'm selling (after 13 years I'm pretty used to it with my own).

I had 2 of these cues (that were inlaid by Ernie in 1988 and then stuffed in a drawer) built out in 2009. This one sold in less than a day on AZ. I kept the other one for myself and then sold it (played for 4 months) again on AZ in less than a day, both in the mid 5K range. At the same time, I was selling Spain blanks (that had been sitting in a drawer at Ginacue since 1969) on eBay and they were bringing 1 to 1.5K. When we were down to the last blank, Ernie made a cue out of it (a little fancier than the one I'm offering) and I sold that one (the only Spain/Gina to make it to auction before this one) for $7,000.

My consignor is willing to take a little loss if that is what the present market dictates. I think the cue will at least meet reserve, but its not my investment to gamble on what I believe, thus we agreed to have a reserved auction. if I didn't think the cue will sell, I wouldn't auction it, I don't need the practice.

Thanks

Kevin

If I wasn't registered in California for eBay, I'd be all over some of Kevin's listing as he has some nice listings. It's just that I have to pay 9.75% on top of it that's holding me back :(

Wow, What is wrong with looking at an eBay Cue? I must be missing something, why is it a WASTE of time? Can't AZers bid on eBay? Kevin I feel sorry for ya being on Nicks IGNORE list. Shame on you, Ron

Ron

It's all good. Ignore seems like a perfect solution to the problem, whatever the problem might have actually been.

All the best

Kevin

Just a bump for a funny comment!! Thnx for the chuckle!!

Thanks for the bump

and the chuckle.

The Spain/Gina is way past 1/2 way to reserve and we are not 1/2 way through the auction, so I think we are off to a good start.

Thanks again

Kevin

I think Nick just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and his panties were all in a twist.

At least you didn't title your auction "Cue for Sale" like some do!!!

hmmm, waste of time looking at this cue?? If I had not seen this on AZB I would never have seen it, and I already bid on it.....don't think I'm gonna win it, but what the heck....
