Why don't many members fill in thier "about me" information?

on a completely unrelated note i've decided to run a 10K. i've also decided that by this time next year i'm going to make it my goal to be able to do over 30 pull ups

This post is useless without details.....

There is a current posting member here who (I have been told) found out where a non-anonymous member lived and worked and called him at home and at his job to talk sh*t and argue about something they were bickering about on here.

I like to stay anonymous for this reason: If someone did this to me, even if it didn't affect my home or work life, I would probably kill them. So I stay anonymous for their health and general well being.

EDIT: There are several people on here that know me in person, but I doubt they know my age, where I live, etc. Give me a first name, age, and city you live in and I easily can get your full name, DOB, residence history for the last 20 years, known associates, etc.

We had something similar happen on a forum I help run - one of the members started stalking another member after she found out they were both interested in a different forum member.
She started making death threats, things got out of hand, she got banned, police got involved, and the other person moved to a different state... it was just ridiculous.

That said I don't worry about it all that much - I've been posting on forums for 10+ years with the same username. I've written and posted articles that have my real name, posted links to my personal website, and posted up my "facebook info". If someone really wanted to know about me they can just use google...

Since I am out of state and trying to meet up with some AZ locals over the next couple of days to shoot some and won't be able to arrange it if I am banned, here is my edited response, which is a fun little story that I am sure you will enjoy:

I think of you every time I tip. And it feels good.

I tipped the waitress at Denny's today, gave her $20 for a $13 lunch.

I got married a few weeks ago. Spent over $26K of my own money with no help from family on the wedding, paying for family member's flights, hotels, tuxedo rentals, venue, food, wedding party gifts, etc. etc. Even after that, I tipped the DJ $300, tipped the photographer $200, tipped the venue and coordinator $1K, tipped the servers $100 each totaling $1.4K, tipped the photo booth operator, tipped the limo driver, and probably tipped some other people I am forgetting.

One day, when you grow up, move out of your mom's house, get a job, develop some class, and learn to use capital letters, you may realize that not only does tipping play a huge part of certain people's income, but it is also the right thing to do. It makes other people feel good about working hard and doing a good job. It makes me feel good for being able to do nice things and reward good service.

Oh, and tonight when I am playing some cheap sets at one of the local pool halls with some AZ members, I will tip the waitress, and think of how lucky I am not to be a worthless POS sitting in that sh*thole of a city named Stockton right now. I am looking forward to it! Have a good night sweetheart.

well i'm none of those things and you are a worthless POS. tipping won't change that. be as E-tough as you want you'll still be a trick. you can't buy your way out of being a p*ssy. it's a good thing you have extra cash as long as you keep spending it people won't treat you like the trick you are

i've saved two people's lives. people treat me well because i carry myself well. people treat you well because you throw money around. if your money ever runs out you might actually have to find out what kind of man you really are

Stockton? Aren't the Barkleys from Stockton?

i actually don't live there anymore but i don't keep up with baseball so i couldn't tell if if the barkleys were from stockton.

it's like every other city in california there just isn't as much work there. there are actually some nice neighborhoods there

I was just teasin ya. I was thinking way back to black and white TV.
The Barkleys in The Big Valley tv show.

You better stop thinking and starting holding that antennae properly, that static is still there with you standing still.

# 12. I'm running from CIA sir.

On a more serious note I'm starting to see clearly why NOT giving up personal info is a reasonable policy. :)
