Brunswick Cue Chalk

Who makes it for them, Tweeten??? My gut tells me Brunswick outsources it? I've Used Master, Triangle, both Tweeten products. Made in the same factory. It's like a Ford and Mercury, the only difference is the paper wrapped around it. What about color? Some "believe" blue is Superior to green. Others say Master gold is the best on earth??? It's food coloring.

I've tried everything "except" the twenty five dollar a chunk, "extremely well marketed" Blue Diamond stuff.

Rarely do I miss-cue, and when I do, I can't "blame" it on the chalk.

I like Brunswick chalk though. Does anyone know who actually makes it?

I think it's Master chalk. I bought some a few years back from a distributor and they said it was the same as Master. Let's see what others say...that guy might have been wrong.

I think you are on the right track. I would say there is zero probability
Brunswick makes their own chalk.

Wise words indeed.

IMHO - I would go so far as to say, assuming you're using a good quality
chalk, NO ONE has ever mis-cued because of the chalk.

The holy grail was a myth 1000 years ago - and it still is, but it sure has
sold lots of things

I've used Master blue for decades, I have a good sized stash of pre-flag,
it seems to me it performs better, esp in high humidity.

i can tell you with absolute certainty that Tweeten does not produce chalk for Brunswick.

as far as i know, Tweeten's brands are the only 'chalk' produced in the U.S., so i would bet that Brunswick has theirs made overseas with their tables
