Advertising on the Main Forum?

I don't understand your question. Is it fair? You are here for free to have fun and chat about pool. Nothing needs to be fair. Feel free to ignore the threads you dislike and participate in the ones that you do like.
I really don't like seeing LIVE STREAMS, TOURNAMNT ANNOUNCEMENTS or FOR SALES in the Main forum. They have there own forum categories and if I want to see them I look in those forums.
I think the people that constantly abuse AZ by posting them in the Main Forum are duchebags .
But that's just what I think.

Don't bother...Ive just gotten to where I skip those threads as soon as I see the advert start...I probably miss out on some great information and threads....but..complaining is a waste ..

I think he/she's another lonely person stuck in Mom's basement somewhere.
There's a select few that get their rocks off by posting new threads for no reason. Well.... no reason to the average joe, but I believe that this select few, including said OP, love to see their name sprayed all over the front page. I believe that they get some sort of feeling of importance by starting a thread and feeling a false sense of "being in charge".Case in point... 13 threads about one topic. Including 4 new threads in the SAME day about the same topic.

Not to change the topic -- well, I guess it is changing the topic, but can anybody provide me a link to a *free* website banner ad software? I'm creating a new website, and I would like to play around with this a bit. I probably will eventually purchase a website banner ad software, but if I can see how it works for free, I'd love to explore.
There's a difference between the banner ads that move with .GIF and the stationary ones. I like the stationary ones better, though the moving ones get more attention, I guess.
When I finish my new website, I'm going to post it on AzBilliards and take advantage of the *free* advertising. :thumbup:
On a serious note, I think I have read posts from Jerry Forsyth, AzB moderator, that they welcome other industry members to contribute to the forum if it helps in the advancement of pool as a whole. It's not a proprietary or competition thing with them, at least that's how I understand it. :smile:

Great Post Dub... I wonder how many good threads I missed out on because it got sent to the "back row" before I had a chance to see it, and then it was bounced again when I was not looking. I hate going through 10 pages of threads when over 1/2 are BS threads looking to start an argument about something kinda silly. I've probably started less than 5 threads in over 1 year because usually I don't have anything interesting to bring up or ask, but if I started threads based on every stupid thought that ran through my brain, I'd be the the Thread King of the World.
