I cashed in the Seniors, 302nd out of 3,750 players! $2K plus change .
Yeah? I got one outer-ed man. That sh$t is not suppose to happen.
I got one outer-ed the other day also. I had AA vs KK. The board was: A K 6, 6, K.
AAAKK loses to KKKK, and no bad beat jackpot either.![]()
Yeah!? but I was playing in a major event with a bunch of kids that could barely play. I had a good shot at a bunch of money, thats all. Now I'm back to you guys....geez. =)
So, just curious, bad beat? Or were the kids lucking out on river cards?
Well, luck factors in only after the event between who's ahead and who's behind. The guy who's behind coming out ahead is the lucky guy.
When you have an under-set and you get out in a major event, you have a horseshoe around your kidney.
I was crippled because I shoved a goofballs raise and he had aces. After another 4 confrontations I was chip leader. I am a starving pool player so I had to play good. Anyways, I had chips still after the one outer....imagine that. It was a massive pot, I almost flipped the table over, but I decided to cry instead.
I had one bullet left with 55 and shoved cutoffs open and couldn't fill up against his A9.
So I played good but got really unlucky. As unlucky as you can get. But that doesn't matter, these tournament players have it all down to a science, it's so hard to beat them, even if you play jam up. Just my thoughts.
Could somebody repost this in standard english? I understand about half of it and it seems like a really interesting story.
I got reeeeeelly unlucky at the wrong time. Now I'm back in mommy's house broke again. =)
Oh. That was a lot shorter story the second time around. Weird.
I don't play poker 'cause I gamble ALmost as well as I dog the 8. :joyful:
