Cool design, and nice stuff, although I would definitely make few things on the website
in the html design, for example the menus at top, and the red sign where it says

Last 4 Ever Tip Tool

The LAST tip tool you will EVER buy!

at top, put the whole thing in the middle, also the context of the column whatever you click, make that Centered, then it can be perfect.

(Still waiting for the videos) and good job, your fast :) *thumbs up*

I think there needs to be more uniformity or maybe a theme to marry up the pages, so that they look like they are part of the same website.

The different sizes of the buttons representing each page may be more pleasing to the eye if they were each the same size, maybe smaller and all on one line from east to west or, in the alternative, north to south on the left-hand side.

I'm not sure if you have a paid website with GoDaddy, but I think most website hosts will allow you to remove their logo. You have the GoDaddy logo on the bottom, and I think you can hide that if you have a paid website instead of a free website. Well, that's how most web hosts work, anyway. I'm not sure about GoDaddy.

I would like to see the red bar with the name of the website with a little smaller font.

More pictures may be pleasing to the eye and intice people to read more, such as a person using the tool while standing next to a pool table. I have always liked pictures and think they can tell a story.

Just some loose change for your consideration. I'm not a website designer and don't know much about the technology. :p

Nice looking template but like asbani said the 2nd set of buttons at the top should be centered along with the red banner and the image of the four models available should be centered as well. Not difficult to do and will look great when finished.

Thanks...

Thanks, I appreciate the comments, and, I absolutely agree. I worked off of one of their Templates and I am having a bit of a tough time with the level of flexibility it offers, or more precisely, doesn't offer!

If I can't figure it out I may have to go with a 3rd party designer.

Joel...On the 'instructions' page, the page width doesn't seem to accomodate the entire sentence, and cuts off the last 2-3 letters. Just wanted to make you aware. BTW, the tools work exactly as they are intended to...nice work!

Thanks Scott. When I put the website together yesterday I had a couple of pages that wouldn't accept my format so I just scanned a printed sheet and pasted the JPEG. I'm going back to fix those now that I have it up and running.

Did you get the ones I sent you?

The site is a little hard the eyes. Its definitely not to busy. However there is something a little disconcerting about the layout.
I like the simplicity though. You dont get lost.

Thanks, I used one of GoDaddy's templates justnto get something out there. May have to re do in the future

Absolutely! I am confident it is the best tool on the market, and, I have been told that by people who range from cue makers to current top ten ranked pro players.

Joel

What differentiates this tool from all the rest? I'm just curious. This info should be on your front page and what grabs the reader's eye. ;)

Also, I wanted to mention that a friend told me that GoDaddy has a website software called "Website Tonight." This software has templates and themes that you can use. I think it costs about 5 bucks a month that you would pay to GoDaddy, but it's worth it if you are self-designing your website. They also sometimes have promotional sales which might allow you to get it cheaper. It may be more cost effective than hiring somebody else, a professional website designer, to do it for you, IMO.

Jam,

I actually used Website Tonite from GoDaddy... Lots of templates, even for various sports, but, nothing billiards related. I just picked one that didn't have rainbows, bunny rabbits or clouds and shafts of sunlight... :)

As far as why I believe this tip tool is better, there are two pages dedicated to just that on the web site, compare the facts and why pick last4ever. I will also include customer comments to that effect

I am worried about having too much information creating a cluttered home page

Thanks for the comments

You have a very good point. When people are shopping on websites, they don't want to read a book, so I agree with you.

About those templates, did you know that you can substitute your photos for the ones on the templates?

Years ago, I got a software called FrontPage for website design. I had no idea how to use it. I did the ol' hunt-and-peck routine, trial and error. After a month, I mastered it. It also helped me how to use Windows Publisher and other software packages. I was a little green back then.

I'm still green on websites, but I have friends who have had really good luck with the Website Tonight. I admire your stick-to-it-ive-ness. I have a feeling you will get it just right, the way you want it.

Thanks JAM

The GoDaddy site is pretty cool & the templates are relatively easy to use. They basically give you some background designs, color schemes and "content blocks" that you work with by putting in your own pictures and text. It took a few hours to get the basic menus down. What I a struggling with is their "Search Engine Visibility" software that helps the major internet search engines link your site to people doing searches.

And, as far as the $5 a month... well let's just say that once you buy the domaine name, sign up for site hosting, buy their search engine service and an online store you can drop some serious bucks.

Thanks

Joel

Oh, Joel, I can help you with the SEO or search engine visibility.

Check out this website. You will get a lot of information from here, and it has a lot of different features that allow you to test your website and tweak it, so that it's searchable. A law firm I know well used this website for their website, and the results were fantastic. They are searchable and come up on the first page, the top 5 for their specialty.

Do the checklist features on this website, and after that, definitely run your website through the links on this page: "Why Does My Website Suck?"

Google does not use meta word tags anymore for judging which website gets on the front page. It is important that you have the wording correct on your header of each page and the "description" matches the "header" of the page with keywords.

Also, Google does look at how many years the domain name has been paid for. If you only have one or two years, Google might place another domain name ahead of yours if they have, say, five or six years purchased.

Good luck. Starting a website means burning a lot of time, trial and error, but once you get it right, then you won't have to tweak it anymore.
