Caught me for second, then realized he probably cuts his points with an endmill and his milling head angled. You end up with a different looking relief at the end.

Can you take the same photo but without the router? You're like a chic who wears a very short skirt and bends over almost just enough but not quite, then stands back up & giggles. Such a tease.
 
Are you doing that on your Y axis? If so you must have alot of travel. I dont know if I could do that on my knee mill.

Yes, that is the y axis. I have 14" of travel in that direction. I have 45 in the x but the head does not tilt that direction.

You have me thinking now. My mill has the same problem it will only tilt in that direction. I am going to have to check and see how much travel I have. Doing it that way sure makes cutter selection alot easier.
