Perfect Aim FREE Phone lessons NOW !!! Plus Testimonials

Thanks for the great testimonial........

I wanted to thank you for the time you spent with me Geno , working out why I was the long cut shots so poorly.
as I had said when we first started , I had tried moving my head to both sides, pivoting my body a little moving my feet around. Everything I have used in the past. I knew it was a mechanics problem but just could not work it out.
The few things you had me do , got everything to start looking correct again.
I had been suffering over this for quite a while, so to see the ball and get down on it and know I was lined up correctly felt so good again.
I was playing some 9 ball a week later {like I said I don't get to play much} and using what you talked about, and it was raining balls in the pockets.
I still have some rust but i was running out enough that one of the best players in the room kept going "dang" who is this guy!. Which is about as strong as it gets for him.
It felt great to make balls again and I couldn't be happier.
Thank you for taking time to help a stranger and I hope one day I can return the favor sir.
I am looking forward to meeting you.

Hi there Bookcollector,

That's what it's all about. Improving ones game. And unless you know how to do this it can seem like mission impossible just to make a few shots.

Now you know why i say to everyone. I guarantee that once you learn Perfect aim it will cut your misses in half almost immediately. Everyone has trouble keeping the eyes in the perfect position to see the shots as good as humanly possible.

As you know now this is nothing I invented but just something that i figured out. How to help anyone see all shots on the table as good as is humanly possible.

And nobody has ever figured this out. All these players I work with have never seen this before anywhere.

The players that aim the best naturally just do it better naturally. Just like some people can hit a ball with a bat naturally better than others.

BUT, anyone and i mean anyone can be taught how to aim Perfectly.

Have fun with what you learned. I hope your words here encourage others to make this call for this free lesson.

Thanks again Geno..... Welcome to the world of Perfect aimers my friend........

If GENES information in his DVD was something that was EARTH SHAKING, may I ask why has not some RETAILER of Pool Instructional DVD JUMPED upon the DVD like a it was GODS gift too POOL, and sold the hell out of the DVD. Why has not Inside Pool, or Billiards Digest done a review on PERFECT AIMING, and said something like a MUST FOR EVERY POOL PLAYER who want to improve their game??????

IMHO Mueller if they Sold the Perfect Aiming DVD would have took a loss on the proposition, as Mueller offers a MONEY BACK WARRANTY on EVER PRODUCT THEY SELL, and IMHO the DVD would have been returned like an Armada of Spanish War Ships to Mueller's.

Like I said in the post above I had the PERFECT AIMING DVD LOANED to me by a guy who not only sprung for the DVD , but also GAVE GENE a $100.000 for a Perfect Aiming Lesson. I watched the entire Perfect Aiming DVD 4 TIMES, and said to my self. ZERO NEW INFORMATION!

I asked this Arizona Pool Player who loaned me his DVD what did Mr. Geno teach you?, he said to see shots differently.

After about 20 other questions to the guy who loaned me his DVD I could not get a straight answer out of the gentleman what he learned from his $80.00 DVD, as he still shoot Pool like a Strong "C" weak "B" Player after Genes Dog, and Pony Show.

Honestly who else in the Pool World sells an Instructional DVD, and say if you do not COMPREHEND the INFORMATION call for a SPLAINING?

HAW THERE does anyone get the message. Dog & Pony Show??????????????

Sorry Geno I just bought Power One Pocket from Fast Lenny featuring Scott Frost, and I don't need to make no phone calls to UNDERSTAND WHAT SCOTT is trying to Communicate, ALL I NEED DO is Follow Scott's Instructions, and Practice what he shows step by step to accomplish what Scott Teaches in his DVD.

Bruce,
You listen to the beat of a different drummer. I'm not sure the tune Gene is playing is something that you will ever get. I'm sorry, I really am.

However, I am glad for you that you have found something that has helped you with your game even if it is not Perfect Aim.

What I don't really understand about some of you haters is that you can't be happy for others who seem to like the information that Gene shares.

What a lot of people also miss is the fact that if you purchase the video you can call Gene and bend his ear about anything in the video. If you have the video and you can call Gene to talk a little pool, all for a hundred bucks, I think that must be the bargain of the decade. I know few top level players who offer that as an option.

It's OK that you don't get it. It's OK that others don't get it. But it doesn't make any sense to me how the HATERS can get on here and whine like little babies about Gene's message and how he communicates it BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO DO GET IT and who like Gene and what he is selling..

When people play at Gene's level, it is hard to get them to tell you anything. Gene provides his personal phone number for you to call.

I think you and all of the haters do this forum a disservice by spewing the hatred time and time again. I've received PMs from many who don't understand the hate and neither do I.

Joey, what's really your interest in this? I don't believe it's for the good of mankind like you keep saying. There's no doubt Geno is selling his product in the main forum, yet you keep defending him. Makes no sense. So, what's the real story?

Joey:

Unfortunately, you had to add in what the forum is not, which I specifically ask you not to. :(

I answered your question fair in square, and expanded upon my answers by reiterating what the Main forum is not, based on what other point-purpose forums were created outside of it. I'm not going to play the charades game with you, so that you can manipulate my message. This is not an episode of "What's my line?". So, respectfully, let's dispense with the salesmanship tactics, ok?

I answered your question directly, immediately (right from the opening sentence), and didn't beat about the bush.

The forum is here for the general benefit and use of all AZB's membership. It is only right that no formal definition exists for the Main Forum. This is the PRIMARY FORUM and that's all it is.

That's a fare description, IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE EXISTENCE of other point-purpose forums (that's the key operative point I think you're missing here, or choose to admonish). Those other point-purpose forums sprang into existence (as they do on *any* message board) because of the abuse that commercialism -- and the human nature opportunism associated with it -- brings. In a Utopian world, Joey, your description of a "Main forum" would carry a lot of weight. Unfortunately, this is not a Utopian society. Human beings are opportunistic by nature (we can go into a long discussion here of the hunter/gatherer thing, but we won't), and therefore when a "generic" forum is displayed, the rules are bent until they break, and have to be mended. Many, many forums have had to mend their rules because of opportunistic (and devious!) sales tactics. As sales people, we all want to get our message out, in front of as many eyeballs as we can, yet we don't want to pay for the privilege.

When a large group of members of AZ Billiards chooses to rant and rave about how that person has improved their game because of one person, those of us who aren't of like mind and spirit should simply value the rights of those who voluntarily acknowledge the contributions of that person.

This has NOTHING to do with it. You think just because paid-for information is "valuable," that it automatically gets a free pass to skirt the rules? I think that's the root principle that you and I disagree on, Joey. All of our disagreements on the topic of Geno can be founded upon that one principle.

And here's the rub of why your point of "information value skirting the rules" is WRONG. Who's to say whose commercial information is "valuable enough" to the point where rule-bending takes place? Now we're going to have double standards? Who determines those double standards? If anyone (even the moderators) get into a game of "whose information is valuable enough to skirt the rules," where's the value in a double standard?

One of the reasons that Gene Albrecht continues to receive the accolades of many posters is that he is making a valuable contribution to their pool game.

So what? There is a place for that -- dedicated forums, like the Wanted / For Sale and the handful of review forums that Clark_the_Shark moderates. Many players (including yourself) like using a glove -- and they think it's ESSENTIAL for their game -- but you don't see Seyberts coming onto the Main forum and spamming glove advertisements onto it, do you? Many folks (like myself) think Accu-Stats DVDs are ESSENTIAL for learning pool in its many ways/shapes/forms, but you don't see Pat Fleming spamming the Main forum with ads, do you?

It is in THIS MAIN FORUM, that most of those people heard about Gene Albrecht and his PERFECT AIM system. It is only right that they have the opportunity to talk about their individual experiences right here on the MAIN FORUM.

If Gene continues to light the candle of aiming perception for some people, I hope that the management of AZ Billiards has the wisdom to continue to make allowances for any downside that might be perceived by a few. But more importantly, I hope that the management realizes that those who are receiving the benefits of Gene's FREE PHONE LESSONS have as much right to express how Gene has helped their pool games, and yes, IN THIS MAIN FORUM.

That's a cop-out, Joey. Geno happened to slip under the radar and manipulate the rules to get to that point. I guarantee you that if the mods had any inkling that his initial posts would lead to what we have now, that his posts would've been acted upon (i.e. moved into the correct forums) right from the outset.

And he's STILL manipulating the rules (and intent) of the Main forum with his loss leader free phone lessons. You can capitalize the letters of free phone lessons all you want -- it's still a loss leader.

Yes, Gene is a salesman but if it hadn't been for his skills at selling, many people would be still languishing in the mediocrity of their pool game.

If the MAIN FORUM isn't here to give a blessing to improving one's pool game, then I don't know what better good it can serve.

This is another cop-out. Anybody can say their product exists to "help pool players." Any vendor, Seyberts, Muellers, Stan, Geno, etc. -- can say this. It doesn't give them a free pass to spam the forums with advertisements, no matter how "valuable" the product is. This goes back to what I discussed previously about the double standard thing.

The truth is that Gene has been BADGERED, CONDEMNED and ATTACKED for his PERFECT AIM SYSTEM by a few, WHILE DOZENS continue to sing his praises. Why is that? Hmmmmm. I wonder.

Joey, I don't have a problem with Geno's product. I have a problem with Geno's tactics. I don't have a problem with "perfect aim." I have a problem with Geno's infomercials on the Main forum. Can we not get that straight? I never attacked Gene's product. I attack Gene's tactics.

Gene has not retaliated to one of those mean-spirited attacks and even you have to admit that. Most would have lit up the forum with expletives that would embarass even the most uncouth.

And that wasn't me, right? I think I've been pretty consistent in my message to Gene, and my message centered around his tactics, but NEVER with a mean spirit or lit up the forum with expletives.

I probably spend an above average amount of time on the forum based upon the number of my posts and the length of time that I have been a member and I have no problem with passing over threads that do not interest me. I also have no problem reading and interacting with threads that do interest me.

I can't call what you are doing a witch hunt, because I genuinely believe you don't mean Gene any harm but but attempting to censor what other posters are talking about, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CONCERNS POOL and THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR POOL GAMES, you and a couple of others do the Main Forum more harm than good. Again, if this Main Forum isn't about improving your pool game, then I really don't know what it is.

You are correct in that I NEVER meant any harm to Geno, especially in the condition he is in now. I felt bad when I heard the news of his accident.

But, staying on topic, here we go again with the double standard discussion. So let me get this straight, Joey. You believe that if a vendor has a product that they believe will help pool players, that they should be allowed to spam the forum with no restrictions? That eyeballership is more important than anything else? Honestly, I can see why you believe this, because you're in sales yourself. On this, we're just going to have to agree to disagree.

Gene Albrecht is one of the best things to happen to this website.

People complain about pro players not spending time here. This wishful censoring and sniping by a few is why they don't come here.

This is a yet another cop-out. We can all surmise and present conjecture about why pro players don't spend any time here. That doesn't make any of us right, until an actual pro player explains out in the open why. None of them have. I do know that the few pro players that *have* posted here (i.e. John Schmidt, Danny Harriman, Dennis Hatch) don't as often anymore because they simply have no time. And the spare time they do have, why spend it on a forum?

We have GOLD with Gene and you want to push him off in some corner of the website where he won't be of benefit to most of the members of AZB.

Another cop-out. The viewership numbers of the Wanted / For Sale forum are surpassed only by the Main forum. Go take a look, Joey. I'll go on record as saying that Geno's infomercials would do more good in the Wanted / For Sale forum, precisely because they will be eyeballed by folks there to purchase something in the first place.

If the management had the money, THEY SHOULD PAY GENE TO POST ON THIS FORUM because he can and has helped people become more excited about their pool game than practically any other poster.

When people become excited about improving their pool game, they bring other people into the sport. We need more people excited about their pool game and we certainly need more people playing pool. Gene helps with all of that.

Gene has AND CONTINUES TO HELP MANY PEOPLE to improve their pool game and that deserves to be here in the Main Forum.

Again, we're talking about double standards here. Many, MANY products are helpful to pool players. Geno's is not the only one. As discussed, just because a product is "helpful" doesn't give its vendor a free pass to spam the forum with infomercials.

In the spirit of answering your questions (which I did), may you return the favor now? My question to you is the topic of the double standard. Do you think vendors should be allowed to spam the forums with advertisements and infomercials? And if not open season to all vendors, but rather the value of the product should be determined by someone to allow that product's ads onto the Main forum, who determines that product's value? And how often can that product's ads be "bumped" by the vendor?

Eagerly looking forward to your answer, without you stereotyping me and globbing me in with the "haters,"
-Sean

lol, Joey, you do realize, of course, that the more you rave on -- what with all the "hate" and "hater" comments in colored ink -- that you are sounding more and more like a teenaged high school girl, don't you? So for your homework, missy, I am going to assign that you write an essay entitled: "Why Selling is Bad for the Main Forum." I want it rooted purely in logic and reason, containing zero prejudicial words, AND using *no* colored ink. Now go to your room, young lady, and get cracking.

Hey guys, just curious here. Now I stopped coming to AZ for 2 years or so and just started up this past summer.

When i first learned about perfect aim, and other instructional things like traveling schools and new DVDs and what not. I saw them on the main forum.

Now it seems that this is not OK? If so when did that start happening? And is there a why too?

I just seem lost here.

Thanks.

Pete

So i finally got around to calling gene yesterday. Great guy to talk to on the phone and I am certain this is going to help my game immensely. I am a 6 (was briefly a 7) in the apa (i also play in the bca) so i play fairly decently. Lately I have come to notice that when i miss shots i fairly consistently undercut the ball driving it into the close rail. I started to suspect that i was having difficulty getting lined up on the shot with my dominant eye on the shot line. So I called gene and sure enough he has a method for ensuring your dominant eye is in the correct position which gives u much more confidence that u are going to make the shot. Making an error of this nature is very difficult to detect because it is so subtle. If your dominant eye is say 1/2 inch to the right or left of the shotline it still looks correct but u will either undercut or overcut depending on which side of the shotline your eye is on and whether u are cutting to the right or to the left. Here are the scenarios:

1. cutshot to the left, eye to the right of the shotline -> u will undercut.
2. cutshot to the left, eye to the left of the shotline -> u will overcut.
3. cutshot to the right, eye to the right of the shotline -> u will overcut.
4. cutshot to the right, eye to the left of the shotline -> u will undercut.

If u are consistently experiencing one of these then u probably have a dominant eye alignment problem that gene's method will solve for u. If any of u have watched joe tucker's aiming by the numbers workout dvd, in there he talks about how when he is cutting to one direction he has no problem but when he is cutting to the other direction he says it just looks a little wrong... well, i suspect joe is experiencing this same phenomena. He has played long enough to realize it tho so has learned to compensate. Better would be to give gene a call and learn the method for ensuring your eye is properly aligned.

I cant thank you enough Gene. You have given me hope that I can someday achieve that most elusive of all pool goals... consistency.

Hope this reviews helps people.

Mitch,
It is quite apparent that there are haters out there voicing their opinions about what THEY THINK, is good information and what is bad information. The haters are pompous enough to want to assign a value to all pool information. It's all about control and having their day in the sun. The haters want what they want and that's all there is to it.

You are obviously one of the haters.

Gene had done more good for this forum and its members than all of you haters combined together.

What's your contribution to this forum and its members? What's your story? Why do you hate so? BTW, to be fair with you, I won't be responding to your next post or any of your future posts unless you provide some pool information that I find valuable or at least interesting.

Sorry. :o

I don't think you are a hater Sean. I really don't and that's the bare bones truth.

In summary to all of your reply: I think that Gene's value to the forum is greater than any perceived downside that you or anyone else has.

Luigi,
I've noticed that you have slacked up on some of your hating. The moderators didn't give you a reprimand did they? Regardless, keep up the hard work.

Well just a few words that come by me would be "silence kills the cruel hearts"

Gene,

I see no wrong in your offer to help people on the main forum nor do I see where it is wrong for me to start my own thread to thank you for your few words. Like I told you before, the wise man takes all knowledge and uses what works best for the best. I tell my wife that supervising a group of guys is ten times worse than women. Thats the honest truth and it continues to show in other parts of the country as well. Good luck with your patience and hope everyone else reading this will act like good strong working men and not politicians with something else driving their decisions.

I'll step out of this thread to allow the people who have taken Gene up on his generous offer for a FREE telephone pool lesson on PERFECT AIM to post their REVIEWS. So much for the smoke and mirrors. :p

What an offer. Let me get inline. I have got to believe that you have the cure for what ails me:thumbup:
I am 63 and still lucky enough to have 20/20 vision in both eyes yet when I get down over a shot I am not looking at the same line I committed to. Shifting my head back and forth, I am looking like a pissed off goose.
I look forward to talking with you.

You want consistency, put in 30 hours a week of practice time. This is the only thing that will work. I did that last week.....did you? Did anyone for that matter?

If your room offers a monthly rate, get that. That's the best bang for the buck.

There are some many reason to miss a cut shot, it is kinda silly to think that that the main reason is not having your eyes in the right spot.

How do handle a using a bridge shot?

How bout the shot below on the 11 cut into the upper corner? I did it reaching out over the table, may eyes were no where over the cue. See this is the type real world shot that comes up that throws all systems out the window. Learn to deal these types of shots, everything else will be cake.

Maybe people just understand the geometry of shot. The drawing below I call Ghost Ball Aiming only because the use of a ghost ball to represent the CB the instant of contact with a OB. Ghost ball visualization is another thing which is seeing where you want the CB to be on the table.

First, a few definitions. Contact patch the the area of a ball the contacts the table. Direction of travel is the line the contact patch will roll over. Aiming point arc is a arc the is always 1/2 diameter of the CB away from the outer most edge of the OB.

Notice that no matter where on the table the CB is, there is only one spot on the table the makes the OB go where you want.

The contact point on the OB is on the same line as the GB contact patch. What this means is that the OB direction of travel line really starts at the GB contact patch. This also means that moving the GB along the aiming arc cause the OB direction of travel to pivot at the OB contact patch.

If the GB is moved to the right on the aiming arc, the end point of the OB direction of travel to the left. How much the end point of the OB direction of travel moves depends on how far away the pocket is. If the pocket is far away, a little change on the GB on the aiming arc will cause a bigger change in the end point of the OB direction of travel.

This drawing also shows how important center ball is. This only one in set I did. There is also one about the impact zone and contact point offset.

Now the real kicker is there is a training aid to go along this drawing. It's called the Arrow by Babe Cranfield. http://books.google.com/books?id=cS...&resnum=1&ved=0CB4Q6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false

The point of the arrow is where the GB contact patch is which is also on the OB contact point line and OB direction of travel line. Understanding GB aiming, practice using the Arrow, start winning. (sorry, couldn't resist).

Thanks.

Pete

Pete:

No offense, but you jumped into this without knowing Geno's history -- "this past summer" was not early enough to know what we're talking about. There's a such thing as making known your product's existence, and outright spamming with manipulative infomercials. Although Geno's product is good for lots of folks (heck, to imitate a hair club for men commercial, I myself have a copy of his original perfect aim DVD), Geno's tactics of spamming the Main forum, and turning every thread he participates in, into an "eyes have to be in the correct place; call me to find out how" parasitic sales siphoning. Thread about a certain cue with an LD shaft? Gene's "contribution" to that thread will be "how the eyes have to be in the correct place to use that cue/shaft combination -- call me to find out how." Thread about stroke analysis? Geno's contribution to that thread will be "how the eyes have to be in the correct place for the stroke to deliver the shot correctly -- call me to find out how." Thread about how so-and-so matches up with so-and-so? Gene's "contribution" to that thread will be "how so-and-so's eyes have to be in the correct place to beat the other so-and-so -- call me to find out how."

You get the idea. In sales (and all sales people will tell you this), eyeballership is the thing. And, reducing their marketing costs as well. So some unscrupulous sales people (not saying Geno is) have tried to use Internet discussion forums as a "free/no-cost-to-me vehicle" to get eyeballs. It's parasitic by its very nature, and is the reason why most discussion boards are moderated and spam filtered out. That's not to say commercial vendors are not welcome here, but rather that separate subforums are created so that ads for products (and product reviews / testimonials) can be posted there. It's no big deal to go visit that forum (in our case, that's the Wanted / For Sale forum). This way, the Main forum can stay clear of vendors trying to leap-frog each other with multiple ad postings, thread-bumping, and commandeering/hijacking threads with sales pitches in their zeal to "get eyeballs." This is what Geno's built a reputation for while you were gone.

We have subforums built for all kinds of dedicated topics -- e.g. 14.1, Carom, Snooker, Wanted / For Sale (where Geno's infomercials should go), Cue Reviews, Instructional Material Reviews (where Geno's testimonials should go), etc -- it's a pretty comprehensive list. Those point-purpose forums are specifically there to help you find what you're looking for (or, "looking for but you don't know it yet"). And these forums are visited by folks with "purpose" in mind -- e.g. someone looking to buy something is going to the Wanted / For Sale forum. It just makes logical sense. And it's not like Geno's been done a disservice by directing his infomercials to the Wanted / For Sale forum; the Wanted / For Sale forum is surpassed in viewership numbers by only the Main forum, and these are all folks looking to buy something, unlike the Main forum. It actually makes a lot of business sense for Geno's stuff to be advertised / testimonialed there, instead of gaffing unsuspecting viewers in the jaw in the Main forum.

Hope that helps explain it,
-Sean

Absolutely........

Does this take contact induced throw into account?

If you can't see and aim the shot Perfectly how can you adjust for anything.

You need to be perfect as you can and adjust from there. We all learn how to adjust.

Being lined up wrong and trying to put english and throw on the ball is like trying to teach someone how to shoot a gun while their riding a horse.

Teach them how to shoot perfect and then the horse.

Learn how to aim the shot. Once you know the shot is Perfect you can really start seeing what is happening with all these other things like squirt, swerve, deflection.

Contact induced throw can vary alot with conditions. That's another whole new ball game. Humidity, chalk on the balls, dirty balls or just the different types of english you use.

If your not lined up right nothing works. if the ball doesn't go in the hole your done shooting.

So you better aim it as good as you possibly can.

I can get anyone there with Perfect Aim even over the phone.

I can'y believe you havn't called yet.

920-840-5296 and this goes for anyone.

Looking forward to calls today. thanks for asking geno.........
