For a first re-cover.
I like to do/try things out for myself and today did a re-cover of my bar box.
I got this cloth a while back and forgot that I had it, long story short....
I some how ripped the old cloth while cleaning the table yesterday, since Im broke and out of work I decided to give it a go myself and it came out alot better than I had hoped :thumbup: It took me a couple of hours and was all done by me (cause none of my friends thought it was a good idea to help me out.... *****s). I love how it plays now and can actually play shape :rolleyes:

I didnt do the rails because I dont have a staple gun nor the energy after doing the bed :boring2:
So far Ive done my own tips, wrap change (installed leather wrap)... My next venture will be a leather envelope case.
 
Good stuff. Its a great feeling to accomplish this sort of thing by yourself.
You should send a pic to Anhauser Bush and see if they will send you a couple of cases for the bar fridge.
 
That must have been one helluva bottle that you peeled that label off of!!!! ;)

I forgot to say, I hope your coin-mech is still installed so that your "friends" who didn't want to help with the recovering can help pay for the next one! ;)

On a more serious note you did a bang up job for never recovering a table before. Well done ;)
 
One question???

The old cloth and the rails looks like nap cloth but the budweiser cloth looks worsted, that may play a little funny and you might want to consider redoing the rails too...

The photo could just be grainy and the coloring on the new cloth could be hiding it, but the cloth on the old rails looks grainy and the new cloth is printed which usually requires worsted to print right.

I didn't know that printed cloths had to be worsted. Makes since though that they nappy cloth wouldn't print well or wouldn't have good resolution cause of the nap.

Actually it plays rather well and a ton better than before. I think I might give the rails a go but actually am more worried I might mess them up lol
