Are there any off the rack cue shafts that use the 3/8x10 pin configuration because all I can find so far are 3/8x14 cue shafts.

I think most companies who make replacement shafts offer the 3/8-10 joint configuration. We make them in all of our models of cue shafts. Here is a link to one of them:

By saying "off the rack", are you talking about production cues? If so, McDermott shafts (many of their models) accept the 3/8 x10 pin.

if you want a stock maple shaft then mcdurmott is probably the cheapest and most of their are 3/8 x 10

however if you want my vote on the best aftermarket shaft for any cue I would go for any of the OB cue lines to fit your type of game.

I have 2 of the OB-1's and 1 of the OB-2 and they are the best shafts I have ever owned.
