my email, sureman183@yahoo.com has been comprimized by SCAMMERS DO NOT REPLY i'm not in UK stranded etc. etc. still in Michigan. have lost all contacts, emails, so have to restore all info through Yahoo. running in circles, trying to get corrected. will announce when this is corrected. regards, don sherman AZ sureman183

here is what was sent to me...i read it real quick and knew something was up..thanks for the heads up don..joe

"I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,my family and I came over here to London,United Kingdom for a short vacation. unfortunately,we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash and credit card were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

We've been to the Embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in few hours from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. Well I really need your financial assistance..Please, Let me know if you can help us out? Am freaked out at the Moment.

This has happened before as I got almost the exact email from a pool playing buddy last year and he called right after I read the email to tell me he was in Rock Hill SC at home. I guess this hoax works once in a while but not here.--Leonard
 
after hours & hours, finally got email back, contacts back, but lost all during attempt to restore. back in gear now. thanks to all for concerns. regards, don

My buddy & I are stranded in Denver, and I don't have a cue to play with.

its not over yet. Yahoo restored contacts, but also said up to 8 hrs, would restore in & out email 2 days ago, so far hasn't happened. 3 days now i've had to change my password to get on my email, & during this scam, have probably lost several emails. so asking for anyone who's emailed me in last week, to send another to me, with contact info or to answer any responces, i may or mayn't have gotten. regards, don
