It is my understanding that Minnesota Fats used tournaments as hustles so his real ability was only exhibited in high stakes gambling.

I would like to see a high stakes 18 hour+ match between Mosconi & Minnesota Fats. I have heard that they despised each other.

Given his physical condition, I am intrigued by the fact that Fats could play for long periods of time.

Does anyone know how he maintained his stamina?

when you play for your money your adrenalin is constantly keeping you going. Just play a set for $5,000.00 and see how your body acts.
 
A lot of wanna see matches were posted here but no one has challenged anyone to be the first to be viewed by us. Is there no one in Florida that would like to play someone for the stuff. How about Georgia, I know North and South Carolina has many champions. Somebody has to break the campaign bottle over the room. If I could make a match happen tomorrow on a 5 x10 it would be Alex and Appleton.
