It's sort of amazes me there are posts that are 9+ years old floating around on here.
How did you stumble upon it?

I have a feeling he was searching Talisman tips because I see he has a few posts in a recent thread on Talismans.
But wow, he dug deep to come up with this one. Fast Larry may have caught another gear even in absentia.
yea i did lot of online research, maybe too much. lol
hi Larry, for a player who likes MH and H tips, how do you like your Talisman tips? I bet you're using the H version, i'd probably take the H version too. They have M or H, but i don't know the hit of the M.
my intuition and from what i've read tells me the WB play better than the PRo's but thats only my intuition.
a guy here on AZ told me the talismans arent consistent but i find it hard to believe.
I used to play a lot when I was in my teens, high school and when I was partying or at a bar that had a table.
After getting hitched and now 2 kids time is at a premium. I am ordering a new table that I've been wanting for many years. I still have my cue from my teens or early 20's.
In my quest for a new table I see all these comments saying 'plays true'.
Being a noobie/ rookie what are they meaning in plays true- ball rolls straight? the cue hits the ball straight? bounces off the rail/cushion just like you expected?
Just want to try and get caught up on the lingo.
Thanks, Steve
fast larry he kept things lively just couldn't be civil though. His worst was from Recsportbilliard days oh my. Next thing will be bumping Travis Trotter threads
Awe well. I actually miss reading FL's stuff. Maybe larry mellowed out a bit by now.
