MIA - AZ Missing in Action List

I miss ridinda9 and the Tramp.
Kept us on our toes...and their humor didn't go un-noticed either.

I think the Tramp just lurks now. I believe he had said he had some health issues that prevents him from getting worked up.

I sent him a PM after I noticed his absence and he had been very busy in college. This was along time ago and have never heard from him again. Who knows maybe he will check back in someday.

What ever happened to "TheOne" dude from GREAT Britain?!

[I see you.]

Don't be a stranger! :)

So you're reading about all your British comrades making the pool headlines around the world, winning tournaments, pocketing all the big chips, bringing home the tin cups, and now you want to join in on the fun. I get it. ;)

Jump on in; the water's fine! :)

Not really, just miss the game.

I always knew they'd do well when enough made the jump remember ;)

Didn't need to rub it in :)

Just shame the game hasn't really moved on while I've been away :(

You know, you're right, and it hasn't moved on in the direction we as pool enthusiasts would like it to.

But if you look at it as a way to add excitement in your life, as a form of recreation and not as a form of income, pool can fit nicely in one's lifestyle, I think. IOW, pool needs to be fun again, nothing more and nothing less.

The main thing to remember, at least for me, anyway, is to always keep the priorities straight. Family, friends, health, and job security will always come first for me. I want to enjoy pool again too, truth be told.

I was wondering about you myself Craig.

A lot of these AZ members have turned over, so they don't know who you are, a good player and at one time a cornerstone on AZ.

Not too much has changed for sure - you probably missed the whole Dippy saga.

Sounds like a plan JAM, I'm going to see if I can make the practice a regular thing and take it from there!

Planning some time off for travels / comps next year so got a year to practice, it might not be enough though!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the nice words, I think I did miss the Dippy saga, can you some it up, was it some poker player playing for large cash, what happened?!

The usual happened, job, property, girl...

But hopefully have another bash at it next year, if for fun if nothing else!

Hope you doing well.

Cheers

Craig

That was the one. It was in the Action Room section a lot, played for huge sums receiving extraordinary weight from Shane, Frost and others. For example, 9 ball with the break, the shot after the break, and the 5 ball. One pocket like 15 to 4, etc. Basically, hundreds of thousands changed hands and too much drama. I think it's all died down.

I was wondering about you - had visited your web site and saw not too much recent stuff. Seems like you've settled down - which is absolutely fine and happens to us all. It's too difficult to stay in really good stroke for serious pool and traveling is expensive.

Do you ever run into Colin Colesco at all?
