FYI Robotic Testing and "CORKED" Shafts

Wait a minute. He said shafts. Plural.

Let's not be hasty to judge.

How many shafts would one get at that price?

.

One. My shafts sell for $200 to $400 for quite a while now. I sold Three last week. I am not having any problems selling my shafts. However I am having problems getting them completed and getting large quantity's of A++ grade wood. I send a lot back. My shafts take a minimum of three years to make. By the way, It is probably the most boring part of cue building in my opinion.

Let us be clear.

He is driving there to pay $600 for a shaft?

.

No you got it wrong. I don't want to involve Kevin or tell the world his business. If you want to know what Kevin Paid you will have to ask Kevin.
I will say I have not sold a shaft for less than $300 in the last year as far as I can remember and I have sold at least 10. If you took the time to read the posts I believe it says July 1ST, 2012 for the $600 A++ Shafts. I don't care if I sell 1 of these, in fact I prefer not to. I do not get very many of them and I would prefer to keep the ones I get for me or for my $2500 plus cues. What I am saying here is if I am willing to let one of the A++ TUNED SHAFTS go, it will be for no less than $600 for the ones that spec at 5/8". And ya so far I don't think there is a shaft in the world other than the three I got that do that. How ever I can sell you a shaft that will be more accurate than 90% of the shafts out there for about $300 + shipping. This shaft will be a Grade A- or Grade A quality.

Well, sounds very plain and simple to me, ya send him $600 and ya get the shaft

kwitcher*****in

LOL! I read this post and I had to laugh. That's good and very funny. I have a great since of humor and I see you do too. How does a person even respond to that? LOL!!

You have any pics of those shafts ?
I'd be intrigued to see if it has better grain structure as the shaft on top from the pic below.

Ya Joey, I don't want to be rude but the shaft on the bottom is horrible. I would grade that at a C. The top one looks OK for what I can see of it. I don't know what the tip section looks like. But neither one of these are remotely close to what I call an A++ shaft. Close your eyes and imagine a absolutely perfect shaft. Now double the quality of that and there is the A++ shaft I speak of. If you have or know of where these shaft may exist, give me a price for the 1" diameter dowel. The very few I have took me about ten years to collect. The grain is so tight and the shaft is so white that I don't even think the grain will photograph.

Got any pics ?
What does white have to do with it ? Great shafts have to be white ?

Another dark one.

Sounds like you have not invested much in this game! Therefore you have probably not won much in this game. The race car driver with the least amount of money in his car has a far better chance of coming in last place regardless of his driving skills. That is why amateur racecar drivers are limited to $1500 or less in some divisions. The rich guy invests 50K in his car and all the rest have 10K. To keep it fair they put a limit in some divisions. Just something to think about. You get what you pay for.

How many world championships have you won with your magic cues??

If you have that big of an advantage over everyone else... should be easy.

That little section is perfect. Does the rest of the shaft look that good? And if so do you want to sell any like it? How much for the blank?

Click on the link and watch the video. Skip to 2:25 and tell me if I am imagining it or is that shaft being driven into the table and watch it flex.
I hope I am seeing things. Kevin Peigans cue? I would have told you to keep it after that.

And in ten years expect to be not selling many or any shafts.
I don't see any shaft being worth $600 let alone double that.

Can you provide us with a list of people/cue makers that used your machine.
Truthfully, if after watching that video, I can't imagine anybody crazy enuff to allow their cue to be placed into that machine. And that is why I suspect your post regarding the close date for independent testing on your machine, that no one has taken you up on the offer.
The contraption does not simulate a pool stroke. The cue should move in more of a piston like fashion.

I have not won any world championships. If you think the worlds best cue is all you need to win world titles your retarded. I don't mean that in a mean way. How ever it may be all I need to beat you!

Center grain goes all the way to the end.
I don't sell the blanks to the public.
I keep them for myself and a few cuemaker friends.
A few makers are on waiting in case I have a few more to spare.

Id like to see those shafts. I'm intrigued how a dowel can be more valuable than old growth shafts.

btw, that's not a robot. It's a contraption.

Ya that's what I thought. If your lucky enough to get those you don't want to get rid of them. I don't blame you, I don't want to get rid of mine either. I am sending pics now.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Put your money where your mouth is and bet something!
You are are a bit thin skinned to be posting to forums. I don't know, I don't see too many players who drive the tip of the cue into the cloth on every shot.

Call it what you want. It is far more advanced than any thing you have. If your in California we should hook up. Bring your best cue you have and I bet mine are more accurate than yours. WE can bet those shafts you have.

I have no clue where that came from.

Don't you think a robot would be motorized or automated ? Not manually set up and has a release?

Got any pics of those shafts ?

P.T.Barnum was right, there's a sucker born every minute. Now if only those suckers are pool players and have $600 for a shaft you'll be all set.

I'm probably going to stick to plain maple.

If your referring to my robot, it doesn't either. Your looking at a piss poor video at best. The robot delivers a perfect, straight stroke. Something you are incapable of, myself included. Because the position of the cue and to clear the rail, it might have came in contact with the cloth. The robot is fully adjustable and I have tested hundreds of cues. I cant remember the last time I saw it contact the cloth. But even though, when I am doing a force draw, my tip is in the felt every time. Watch Francisco Bustimonte or how ever you spell it break. I have a picture of him with the tip in the felt so hard the shaft is bent. That video is old and is adjusted and set up totally different now.

Ya! here they are. My new shooter also.
